India is also on the track to getting its own ChatGPT-like chatbot. Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw suggested the same during India Global Forum Annual Summit. Vaishnaw indicated at a “big announcement” related to India’s new AI chatbot which will be parallel to ChatGPT. Talking about the chatbot, he said, “wait for a few weeks, there will be a big announcement.”
Vaishnaw’s take on India’s startup community
In his speech, Vaishnaw also mentioned the start-up community in India. He also claimed that the Silicon Valley Bank collapse didn’t affect any Indian startup. Vaishnaw also mentioned that the government was all set to assist them with immediate action.
mentioned “to combat the crisis, we collaborated with the whole startup community and ensured that whatever deposits they wished to shift to an Indian bank. The whole procedure was flawlessly completed and not even a single startup in India was affected.”
He also claimed that multiple developers and companies are fully equipped to partner with Indian startups and entrepreneurs as the country performs well as a technology giant. Earlier, India was a technology consumer, but now the situation has changed, he noted. Now, companies across the world want to partner with Indian startups and entrepreneurs as their technology develops.
