Despite it being amongst the best times, if not THE BEST time, for India in hundreds of years,
many thankless, unpatriotic Indians have been fleeing and still are fleeing India.
They then, legally or illegally enter other countries.
Some countries which they try to infiltrate into and get caught, then deport them by the thousands.. back to India.
Sadly for the rest of us here, such things make big news too.
Surprisingly, often a significantly large majority of those deported back to India are from very model states too (which have time and again claimed to have progressed a lot in various aspects.. in the past two three decades).
https://in.usembassy.gov/special-online-briefing-with-department-of-homeland-security-assistant-secretary-royce-bernstein-murray Royce Bernstein Murray personally checked in on the flights deporting the Indians (who were) illegally trying to enter her country.

Economic realities + relatives living in US > Amrit kaal
(thereby helping build their economies more, after investing OUR resources in grooming those people for the first 20-30 years ofbtheir lives here, educating them here... often in institutions where their education is subsidised by the tax payers here).
For a sec, keep aside Indian's migrating to other nations and look at migrations within our country and you will know which are the 'model states', which state progressed and which has not.
Illegal migration is everywhere, people have and are migrating to India despite of being seen and labeled as 'Low of happiness Index', 'Unsafe', 'Minority unfriendly', 'Poor/Dirty/Filthy' etc etc.
By the way, India too deports thousands of foreign nationals every year. What we need is fully secured borders and strict follow-up on defined immigration rules.
The real frustration is for immigrants who moved to these countries two or three generations ago. When they return to their homeland for yearly visits to their relatives, they often display a sense of superiority in their behavior and conversations.
However, these same individuals, who migrated legally, are now seen as possible illegal immigrants by the natives in their adopted countries. People back in India notice this, and after these home visits, they wonder: why would anyone want to return and be treated as second-class citizens? Why not come back to India? Look at our children; they are earning well and living happily here.
It's remarkable how much has changed in just 10 to 20 years.
But toxic rhetoric in the west - especially Trump have made it worse for especially all brown skinned people who have legally migrated and living as model citizens (possibly paying more taxes than most of the natives). Now it is seen as ok to be racist under the pretense of illegal migration
The irony that these whites are the original illegal migrants who carried out a genocide on the native population in US, Canada, Australia, NZ.

You have willingly left a hot-weather country, and yet you keep complaining about the cold weather on every visit, as if someone is forcing you to be there. It's remarkable how much has changed in just 10 to 20 years.
have you ever question WHY?
Disrespect to india? never , we attained "state of nirvana". We are now like dewdrop on lotus leaf
today with smoke and fumes around it feels as if we are living in the middle of war zone. seriously, if i get a chance, i will move out of this shithole
While I may agree with the fact that senselessness or self made rituals, customs.. in the name of 'personal beliefs' is a big downer
I would not endorse the part of sshhiittiingg on the whole country, for no country would ever be perfectly free of its issues.
I can appreciate you wanting to bounce.
But if bounce you will, for one thing or another.. then it is possible that you would permanently keep bouncing (from country to country, region to region, place to place).
Just like in pair bonding (marriage, partners).. one has to mould and adopt and only sometimes.. permanently let go of the bond..
.. so it is.. in other equations, other relations too.
but not surprising.
