OTP ₹1000 but Amount deducted ₹1009 by Indusind Credit Card

I added ₹1000 in BPCL Petro card with my Indusind Credit Card and I got OTP for Approval of 1000/- transaction. Transaction was successfully completed. Now when I checked my statement the amount showing as 1009/-. Strange, How a bank can deduct amount more than amount showing in OTP.

Not only this card bro.. online also it depends on some websites and Otp entered for 500rs got deducted for 505rs… how much Extra charge will not be showned, we have to check in statement… Always prefer debit card.
For me paying on 1mg, 5 rupees extra deducted, but refunded after 3-4 days. Axis card
It happens for fuel spend or any such spend like IRCTC etc where we have to pay conv fees extra
How much is 1% fuel waiver on cc if i purchase 💯 rs. Petrol?

In the US they say cash discount of 1 or 2%.. The price shown includes CC charges.. But what about debt cards? But paying with cash does price it lower.. In India they dont say about fuel surcharges.. for 2500 a rs25 charge gets added and then like rs20 gets refunded..
I wonder if debt cards also have this charge? Although I never bothered with cash discounts, as I wanted to use 1st tier petrol while the discounts were from like costco and other bulk markets.. In India also I dont use HP or others and only use IO because surprise, they add ethonol and it destroys your engine. Had so much problems.. Only later does in the CC Bill does it say rs25 discount for mixed petrol.. Why not say this at the pump?? I noticed HP doing a modi and placing 100% pure and test here etc etc etc etc.. What a racket..So now I avoid all others than IO..

Hdfc charges me 1010 for every 1000 …
but it refunds 10 later if petrol filled from selected pumps…
