It is a simple decision. Can you spend 8L a year to get Infinia fee waiver? If yes, Infinia.

Else Diners. Because if you don’t spend much then no need to have the higher Smartbuy limits on Infinia.

Logically, Infinia is better with high limits for cashbacks but whether it is best for you is dependant on your spending pattern and regular expenses.
Doing unnecessary additional spends for sake of getting yearly fees waivers not suggested.

@MTRIP has already summarised well and if you have specific doubts, you can ask

One more benefit to infinia is if we pay the annual fee, equivalent (10K) rewards points is credited to the account.

Not sure how this managed in Diners. Plus the milestone rewards are not there in Infinia.

A new customer cannot get the credit card. But it can be upgraded by existing customers.

Infinia or Diners has to be based on usage(present or future)
More international travel or shopping then go for Infinia, Diners is not accepted in many countries and many online intnl websites.
Diners only advantage is milestone benefit of 500×2 vouchers per month on 80K spends and 10x partners(was lucrative earlier)
FK or Amazon smartbuy limits are never fully utilized by many, even 7500 limit for diners black is more than enough as its no more 10x but 3x on FK and 5X on Amazon
I would suggest Infinia

Main thing is eligibility for Infinia , if you are getting Infinia then take that only. It has wider acceptability due to VISA network and credit limit is also good. Diners also requires 5L for fees waiver so I think 8L should not be problem in Infinia. Smartbuy 10x limit is also double for Infinia , so Diners annual memberships and monthly 1k gvs are nothing compared to 7.5k extra monthly.
Without doubt you should go for Infinia.

Getting 10x benefits to max extent is not easy for regular spenders.

DCB works better if yearly spends are around 5L.

Things in favour of Infinia-
1) The 2X RP on dining can be availed week long compared to the weekend only eligibility for DCB
2) Higher 5X cap
3) You get Priority Pass which is convenient compared to Diners in few international lounges.

Thing(s) in favour of DCB-
1) 10X Diners partners
