Interest moratorium Refunds from GOI – Credit cards and loans.
I have received the above for my personal loan and credit cards (SBI/HDFC/AXIS).
I have following Queries:
1)Has any one received the above refunds for credit cards of Citi and StanChart?
2)I am able to calculate the interest on interest for personal loan and it matches with the refund received.
How ever, unable to calculate for credit cards and loan on credit cards. Has any one arrived at any formula for the same?
StanChart has not credited any thing yet. Any one got from SC?

Nope..it is called ‘moratorium interest’ on the account statement….lets see if we can get it back
So StanC responded saying they won’t give for cc outstanding, in writing. Pretty lame excuse that we don’t charge ioi on cc. All banks have paid. Now how to take SC to task?
I have a suggestion, why don’t all dimers tweet marking StanChart and StanChartIN and nsitharaman and FinMinIndia complaining about ill treatment of indians by the foreign bank even when Indian govt is paying the cost.
May not be much helpful. They may not be able to get the reimbursement from govt since the target date was 05nov20.
got credit in ICICI Home loan and ICICI credit card. I had not opted for moratorium. So this is extra gain.
Finally got 15 lakhs in bank account (overall India)
