Bro no one can provide training for that. Please don’t fall for the so called interview courses. You have to know the basics of the job, your curriculum. And most important of all be confident and don’t panic. Wish you the best brother.

Before panicking ask yourself a question, what is the worst thing that can happen to you?
Well they are gonna reject you. So what? You will try again and that’s what humans do, right?

Tbh i was always bright in academics, and got admission in 1st attempt only. But now facing a lot of trouble to get placed, all because of lack in communication skills
Regarding strategy, i believe is to always make of yours.

Chota muh badi baat, I was in your shoes year ago. Whatever amount you are willing to spend for a college, ask yourself is it worth it? Are you ready for a 9-5 job? Sorry its 9 till the time company wants you to be in the office. Read about the Indian corporate life on Quora, Medium and then make a decision.
I am not scaring you just mentioning what I should have thought about back then. Wish you the best brother.

During admission, my interview lasted only for 3-5 minute, while in same panel for other member it lasted 30-40 min.
It might probably due to my excellent gd performance. Even in campus round, am able to clear GD of almost every company (which everyone else founds difficult), but get struck at interview.

Okay. See, we don’t know you. So, I will try to give you basic generic tips.
1) Focus on your strengths
2) Remember, you can’t change you really are. So, be yourself. Don’t try to be a labrador/golden retriever if you are a rottweiler. And you can’t please everyone because you don’t even like everybody.
3) Learn about their culture. Instead of getting interviewed, interview them. Once you start talking, you will be able to build some sort rapport with the interviewer. Most people like to find a really interested candidate.
4) Don’t worry about leaving a first impression. Because, people are smart. Wise people can really distinguish between phony people and real ones.
5) And remember that you belong to an IIM.
6) If you are too much worried about looks/ accent/ domicile/dress then try to change what is under your control. People will bring you down, don’t listen to them. You will be happy in the long run.

In the end, you will be hired to a company, which is suited for you. Just give your best.
Best of luck

Of all the interviews you have given till date, ask yourself did you know about everything related to that company’s product or service? By everything, I mean God damm every fucking thing.

Thanks brother, for detailed post.
The things which hurt the most is, that most of people around me are less smart than both practically & academically, but they are getting way better packages than me just because they are good in communication skills.
And i belong to a small city, and communication skill was never given that much importance, in last 1 year have improved a lot, but still not able to crack interview. Now let’s see at which company life will take

Don’t underestimate people. Learn from them. Communication skills are important. I think you have a unique kind of communication skill and which is more than okay. I hear big CEOs with nasal sounds and thick accents giving presentations. It is absolutely fine to be unique.
If you are able to convey your thoughts clearly then you are doing more than average people.

In established companies , work culture is actually good. Startup in India has worst culture

U seriously need to polish your English, ‘founds’ ‘struck’ not expected from would be Manager
Improve your English quickly – think only in English not mother tongue and take a small YouTube course for grammar

ok let me offer some insight

there might be two part GD and interview

in GD it will be group, groups and may become like sabji mandi when all shouts , so prepare two say loud some striking thing which cause attention , dont try to act like group leader or moderator its not your job to do so ; state real life recent example from news + some personal experience of your life in college/job

in interview it will be one two one; the test will be of personality +knowledge; about knowledge try to enrich from real world example ; some niche facts for personality dress well but not over

Rejections will come and go but the point is you should believe in yourself and be confident enough.
This is just part and parcel of life man no need to worry. I too went through the same phase when i was getting rejected in many companies but eventually everything changed.
Always remember success bass failure ka next chapter hai wink
So wish you luck in all your future aspirations. God bless.
