iPad for mom?

I am thinking about gifting a tablet to mom. She uses her mobile a lot for YouTube, WhatsApp and Zoom meetings.
Any tablet would do but as she is currently using an iPhone I thought it would be easier to use an iPad.
What do you guys think, is it worth it?

Yes, an iPad is an ideal choice here.

Any light weight tablet (~10") with decent performance ( Mid range processor? ) & a good screen should do
.
Ipad 8th gen (25-30k for 32GB WIFI) is a decent option
Android, I think Tab S6 sells for 35-40k (w/ bank offers) during sale days

Only youtube, whatsapp, zoom?

Samsung A7,
Samsung S6 Lite
Ipad 8 if you’re ok with <30 gb non-expandable memory

Memory is not much of an issue as she doesn’t download much. Only some YouTube videos.

get the ipad, airdropping and managing stuff between iphone nd ipad makes life a lot easier.. android tabs will eventually start lagging.. ipad 7 if you can get it under 20k and 8th gen goes for 26k if you have hdfc cc – check croma online/offline store..

iPad is definitely a very good choice over Android. Hangs less, apps load faster and run faster, easy to install and manage apps, lots of accessibility options are there especially bigger font size, contrast colors, dark theme, etc. which are very helpful for elder people. The only issue is the weight. iPads are really bulkier than the Android tabs.
Also, don’t forget to buy a really good case for your treasured iPad to protect it from sudden drops or falls. I strongly recommend going for the Spigen cases.

P.S. If you can stretch your budget, definitely go for iPad Air, the lightest tablet that I have ever tried my hands on.
