iPhone 6S Battery replacement
Need to replace battery of a 3 year old iPhone 6S (Battery health 70%). Anyone can help with a suggestion out of the following:
1. Apple service center. How much total do they charge for the 6S battery (cost+labour)?
2. Cashify home repair. They are doing it for 1500. Any idea if their parts are good quality? Any previous good/bad experience with their repair.
3. Gaffar Market (Karol Bagh, Delhi). It is nearby, but feeling lazy to go there. And also, its difficult to trust shopkeepers there for the genuine quality parts. Anyone knows any genuine store/shops there?
I would appreciate any help with any of the above three. Or any other suggestion.

yeah. with Apple, such antics cant be ruled out, with compatible accessories. :/
No idea. Does apple not inform over phone about estimate? And for cashify, the offer is too good to be true, since battery usually costs little high.

With cashify, they are providing compatible battery, not original. So, no idea how good is their compatible batteries. They just mention “Cashify certified”.
If you intend to use the device for further 1 or 2 years then get the original battery from Apple. The price varies by device so I am not sure of the cost either. For iPhone X it was 5k.
Just in case you opt for Cashify or other third party vendor then make sure you retain the original battery. Apple has a policy that they take old original battery and replace new one. Without old original battery they won’t provide battery replacement even if you are willing to pay for it.
I changed my iPhone 6S Plus’s battery by myself ordered from Aliexpress they sent tools along with battery. 3400mAh battery for 1000/- It’s been 5 months now capacity is 100%.
Opening an iPhone itself is a big challenge….. Great you did it…..
I’m also looking for a battery replacement for my SE.
Original one is available @ approx 4.4 K 
I had replaced by battery for SE in Dec ‘19. There was some replacement drive been run by Apple then (due to international cry of iOS willfully slowing down iPhone, specially older models, to preserve battery) which ended by end of Dec ’19. Then I had paid 2K including all at Apple authorized service center. Don’t know about the current rate.
If planning on gaffar market then make sure the shop person keep your phone in front of your eyes for the entire time aka no taking the phone to some back room service where you can’t see it. Original battery will be expensive & you will have to check with authorized apple service centre for exact quote but if planning on compatible battery then only buy from that shop which looks decent & gives at least 6 months warranty.
Last year I talked to Apple service center in Delhi for replacement of the iPhone 6 battery and they told me the cost around 3500/-.
…frankly original will cost in the range of 3-4k….difficult to accept this price for a phone…
