Hi anyone have idea if I can file TDR or claim refund for confirmed tatkal ticket with wrong name ( my bro name instead of mine because of tatkal urgency) or can I still travel..train is tonight

What if he asks for proof
Usually, they won’t ask for your id proof if other details check out. Like if you booked a ticket for a 30 years old male and you do look a 30 year old guy then they won’t ask for proof.
But if you have booked a ticket for 20 year old female but you look like a 35 year old male then it won’t fly. Nope.
If it’s really your bother’s ticket then it can work because most probably you both have same features. So take a id proof which has older photo. Voter id or PAN card are the best option.

Just travel tt rarely checks for proof… Just show the tickets on mobile and tell your name as your brothers…
