With the increase in inflation, 50P has lost is value (I rarely used 50p in my childhood) and now I see many people reluctant to take 1 rupee, sometimes 2 rupee coins.

Is 50p still marked as legal tender?

What will happen if people start denying to take 1 rupee, 2 rupee coins in large scale?
There should be a base unit.

Are we moving to 10 rupee as the base unit with 0 bearing no value?

If you want to understand what I mean, Watch Venezuela crisis (which is 1000…? X times faster doing same thing)

Can you see any shine in the lower values? Wait for this in India as well.. just keep voting/ supporting the best economists India has got till now.
