Ig it is bank then insured and nbfc are not insured. Bajaj finance is an nbfc

It is safe but you will not get insurance. I opened 1 lac FD during Covid using Kuvera.. process to open and close is smooth.
Instead of corporate fixed deposits.. Check for Small Finance Banks fixed deposit which gives same or more with insurance. Ex: Equitas Small Finance Bank gives 8.2% for 12-18 months
