Is HDFC Infinia (Metal) still the best card in India?
Is it worth to take it as a paid version (12500+gst)
How many Dimers use Infinia? And what is the best use of this card?

Depends on whether you plan to travel by flights. For folks like me , who dont travel.. Axis Ace and LTF Diners Club Black works out better.
Dinner club is just a bit below Infinia. if you dont have that then Infinia makes lot sense even without travel (it makes so so sense for smartbuy purchases)
Now you get tanishq and few more brand vouchers at 1rp conversion rate on smartbuy portal itself. Easy festival gift, I guess
Details please
If you find that you do travel even once a year. You will be able to utilise the infinia points as 1:1. For example I plan to utilise it for hotel bookings (simple budget ones) during my annual trips.
People on DD have earned in lakhs per annum, so it’s your decision based on your annual spending’s if you will earn back the annual fees and way more or not, without doing unnecessary spends.

I’m a cashback lover not reward points accumulator for hotels, air miles, travel, apple products etc. Also, not a super wealthy person as of now. So, infinia doesn’t attract me much and nor is a target for me. The quench for a super premium"metal" card has already been satisfied by a metal onecard.
there is no difference in reward points i guess for normal infinia and metal infinia
No difference
Subjective based on usage.
for some even Ace might be a better card than Infinia due to cashback and way lower fee..
But even if you do close to 60-70K smart buy shopping(Best use is via Smartbuy platform) in year one can easily breakeven considering 1 reward point to 0.5 GV conversion ..rest all is bonus
Surely one of the best card to have. if someone is shopping for 4L plus in a year.
