We need ICC trophies not 3-4 minutes of cricket between the ads of Gambling apps.

Its just making huge money for players also they sell out to different team for each season that's huge drawback

IPL is biggest business in terms of cricket right now.Iit is supporting many things collectively. It should go on .Even though viewership is decreasing, but still we have very big population who don't have interest in saas bahu serials and they have no other option rather than watching cricket(shop owners,men,students), which they like.In that term, they are the potential customers of IPL viewership *ad targets also😊

It was bound to happen when they decided to increase the team from 8 to 10

Depends. When at home feel craze is down. But at bar and pub craze of everything shows northward.

My theory is as 90's kids grew cricket popularity also grew because of television but rise of on demand entertainment is giving cricket serious competition so when people have option viewership decreases.

IPL has become a tamasha. People get bored watching tamasha everyday.

Where are you basing these numbers from? Last I heard was every major company including Facebook, Amazon, Star, Sony, Jio etc fighting to get the internet rights. Bangalore just signed a 75 Cr/ year multi year deal with Qatar Airways. I doubt all of them are idiots.

BCCI has also launched women's premier league with tons of interested parties paying handsome fees.

Everything points to a great future ahead. Each year the highest streaming record is being broken. Would love to understand from you how IPL has stagnated

Solely because players perform well here , but nothing in the upcoming big matches. Hence people dont like the false hope ipl gives that we can win the next big icc tournament.

Rcb growth is more than ipl every year now Qatar Airways is sponsor without a trophy RCB achieved more than any ipl team it's all abt business
