Hello bhailog
One of my friend was suffering from fever, body pain, vomiting, strong headache. She went to the hospital with her negative covid rapid antigen test report. The doctor asked her to go through different tests like widal, MP, CBC, CT scan of the head, test related to intestine infection, etc but all came negative. These all cost her around 9k and per day 6k charge for a bed. Now doctor again asked her to go through an HRCT chest test for covid (cost was around 6500).
The report came and the doctor said she has virus-like covid
He didn’t interpret clearly so I am attaching the report here, anyone kindly interpret and tell what she should do further. As she doesn’t have any covid symptoms (tasteless, No smell, pulse down, etc)
She already spent 30k in that hospital, her fever and headache, vomiting is normal now. Should she discharge and follow home covid treatment??
Also, share your valuable inputs for home treatment. TIA

Aajkal ke doctor bhi na , jabtak manchaha dawa and test na likh de unhe khana nahi pachta.
Kuchh doctors to bas dhanda kar rahe hai. Sale ne 15000 k to only test kara liye
You didn’t mention anything about RTPCR test so I’m assuming those tests weren’t done. Ask doctors if that tests were done. Rapid antigen can give false negative lots of time.
It could be double mutant or triple mutant virus. Which are lot harder to detect
For RT-PCR test she has to go to govt. hospital as they don’t conduct RTPCR. She has weakness so can’t go to govt hospital
Score above 15 means there is severe lung involvement most likely due to covid
doctor said its medium level
CT score indicates lung infection. Better consult another doctor for alternate opinion if you are in doubt.
that is the only doubt i have, whether its lungs infection due to covid or anything else?
The initial symptoms she had can be due to COVID but can also be there in many other conditions.
The chest CT shows lungs infection. Again it can be COVID or any other cause.
The definitive diagnosis can be made only with RTPCR. Rapid antigen negative has no diagnostic value.
See if somehow RTPCR can be arranged. If it is not available in her area, someone can send her the sampling kit and the local doctor can take the sample and send for testing.
As you said that she does not has any symptoms at present, she can be discharged after proper evaluation.
It is important to check and keep monitoring oxygen saturation levels at rest and after 5-6 mins normal walk and compare. If it is below 94% at rest or if it drops by 4 or more after walking or she feels breathing difficulty/chest tightness, she needs further care which MAY include oxygen support and/or steroids.
If she has no symptoms, and saturation is also good, she can be managed at home. Do the following
1. Strict isolation for 14 days from symptoms onset
2. Regular oxygen sat monitoring & charting 2-3 times a day
3. Adequate fluids. Can take ORS
4. Adequate rest and proper sleep.
5. Deep breathing exercises, pronation and moderate walks inside the room only.
NOTE – This is just advice, NOT A CONSULTATION.
Where are u practising batguy?
Now day there is loot everywhere i was searching for remdesivir injection in kanpur and found that there is lots of fraud there people are selling injection bottle filled with distilled water and they are selling it for 12000 to 20000 depending on person’s need
You must confirm with good doctor then only do anything on your own because nation wide health system is collapsed
Go through the CT scan it will show the viral load if it is covid
The CT findings are suggestive of Covid. Not specific only to Covid, but in this current situation, its more likely to be Covid than the other causes.
So proceed accordingly.
Look at the last page.
My grandfather 85+ got Corona positive no symptoms of corona except problem In breathe , we give oxygen they removed oxygen after 3 hours and said no need of it ,the problem in breathe due to dama old problem of it.
What we say 😄 no trust on report
My uncle is also doctor he continuesoly checking condition
If your spO2 is more than 94% so less chance for corona
Can I rent oxygen cylinder for treatment at home in case of corona positive.
CT scan of the head, test related to intestine infection
Can we possibly go back to pre December 2019 and think for a minute about these, symptoms and possible causes and remedies?
For a minute just consider that Corona doesn’t exist.
What medicines would a regular medical practitioner suggest then?
Please see this image. This is what following by the Govt hospitals.

Even if it is being followed by any hospital, this is not correct protocol as per WHO, CDC, AIIMS, ICMR.
