offline shops have more collection which i find for like levis
also take the best of both world , go and select offline but purchase online for the same model
Following same hybrid model of shopping
Select Offline, Buy Online 😎
For clothing, manufacturers since long time have two variants one for online (cheaper) and for offline (costlier). This also applies to some offline budget stores like Megamart.
Correct, I think many brands do custom manufacturing like Surf excel,Harpic…to Chains like Big bazaar etc
I observed quality difference; low quality in these super market chains
For clothes/shoes/apparel:
Offline: 50/50 → defective products exist but quality control is little better
Online: 80/20 → For branded clothes bought from myntra/amazon/fk, in 8 out 10 I can spot some defects, be it stitching or fitting differences. So as per my theory, there are 3 things happening in online clothing industry:
1. Clothes sold online have much more quantity of showroom quality rejected clothing
2. Many brands have a good lot of separate line of clothing for online and offline now
3. Even for brands that may not have separate clothing line, either entire offline collection is not sold online or comes very late
PS: This is based on my personal experience of buying clothes online for about 10 years now… Also this may or may not apply for several online only brands like roadster, hrx, etc, which may have recently come into offline market but are mainly an online selling brand only.
Bhai. In case of shoes, I trust showroom/authorized e-portal shoes. You will get variety of options if go offline route. You can actually bargain with the shopkeeper. Basically offline purchase requires good interpersonal skills.
Both are same in some of the categories. Mostly I go with these
For Cloth/Garments/Shoes → Purchased from Offline
For Electronics/Groceries/Medicines/Household Items → Purchased from Online
In FMCG items quality difference is seen many times in online and offline . Online quality is compromised generally and it is specially during Sales .
Nowadays offline shopkeepers also order online partially so unless and untill there isupply is from dealers cant say.
Different SKU’s. In case of home appliances I noticed in the case of a recently purchased top load fully automatic machine that a particular model was only available offline. The specs were same just different colour and additional accessories. Pretty sure exists for other home appliances too.
happens for sure. I’ve also noticed minor feature difference as well with some appliances. Maybe the difference are just for the sake to cheer offline retailers that the models they’re selling are not available online but whatever, things are getting differentiate for these 2 channels.
Everything is just the same sirji.
Ye to kono wrong no dial horah hai o.O
I prefer online coz offline merchants utna acha discount ni depate so online is always my 1st preference
