Not worth it, cause op8 will be launched by March-April and the op7 price will goes down. Also new Flagship will available with sd 865 and higher.
And after Launching new phones op wil not notice older devies (see the oneplus community) so just wait for 1-2 months or go with mi/realme Flagship that are gonna Available by January end.

If you are unable to discern the difference between 1440p and 1080p then the vanilla 7T is better VFM. Because of the PenTile sub-pixel arrangement it’s not difficult to distinguish between the 2 resolutions unlike LCDs which have a traditional RGB sub-pixel matrix.
And if you can wait the next gen. has been announced with 120Hz display…
