I need to buy a laptop which I am planning to use atleast for 10 years in the upcoming sale but confused between Macbook M1 vs M2 where M1 might be coming with a price of 49999 in upcming sale whereas M2 might be 20k more. My purpose is just for personal use as I do have a office laptop which is a Macbook pro. Any suggestion from DD community what should I do? Any others suggestions with 13th gen i5 processor laptops under 50k?

go for mac based on m2 pro or latest ryzen cpu based pc or laptop
For basic use M1 is still good enough if you want a a macbook. I use 16GB M1 air everyday and I don't face any issues. For Windows options I have no idea.
nomatter which macbook you buy it will not last more than 7 years. the battery goes down making it unusable. personal experience.
nomatter whichmacbookyou buy it will not last more than 7 years
Just a small correcttion:
nomatter which Laptop you buy it will not last more than 7 years
Also this is not always True:
I am using a 2015's intel core i7 macbook pro for professional work. It still runs wonderfully for whatever task I throw at it. 9 years and counting.
For personal usage have a mac air m1 bought in 2020.
If battery is down after 6/7 yrs. Simply get it replaced at whatever the price be, worth every penny to run for more few years.
i bought m1 somewhere in august this year. costed me around 56k after exchange and cashback. for daily usage it's one of the best laptop out there. for office work i use m1 pro 15 inch but if u want a laptop for basic things and even basic learning to code and all. this is an excellent laptop. no heat no lag very great experience.
wait m4 is coming next month
Buy only latest processor laptop based on core ultra series or ruzen ai 365 series
These are on par kr better than apple m chips
Will cost twice your budget but worth for long term
