Is online food delivery such as zomato/swiggy/dominos safe ?

Asking from the experience of some other dimers as last year we totally avoided all these things but this year it seems too tough and i really want to eat a burger and pizza and also some ice creams and don’t want to go sitting idle like last year but am equally scared if something goes wrong.
Any suggestions on what should i do ?
Also the OTG is broken so can’t make those in home.

There are very minute chances of spreading corona from food (just sanitize parcel & hand, or reheat food)
As of now WHO has not confirmed a single case of corona virus infection from food(& by that I mean cooked food). Just wash your hands with soap for at least 15 seconds after opening the parcel/pouches/pouring food in containers/utensils.
Funny. Zomato customer care said the exact same line. Are you copy pasting that?
Depends on location and restaurant , big chain stores ususallly serve with hygine on (and charge as well)they have a reputation which may get damage if anything happens
I have been eating from trusted retaurant during whole corona and i am still alive and corona free
Chances of Corona infection through food is unlikely. If you want to be more cautious, ask the delivery person to leave the food at the door so you can avoid in person contact. But let me warn you, quality of restaurant food has taken a big dip thanks to Corona and related lock downs. Taste and quality of foods from the restaurants i regularly order has nose dived recently compared to Pre Covid days.

Tell your neighbour to report this to media & get it verified, he will become a small celebrity for being the first confirmed case in the world of corona infection from pizza. 
P.S. He most likely did not get corona from eating pizza. 
Why the Temptation.
Try to control , as its easier to practice control seeing the pandemic, in such times your mind will also support you if you are an junk food addict.

Go ahead … order , just wash your hands after opening the package and microwave / reaheat the food .
