Hi guys, 3 days ago I ordered some products worth 15k from Amazon on EMI for 6 months, later I changed my mind and cancelled the order, today while going thru my HDFC Credit Card statement I saw the 15k amount charged got refunded but the processing wasn’t, I was charged 199 rs as processing fee. Is processing fee refundable?

Edit 1: “Processing fees are not refundable” as per HDFC Customer Care, no matter u cancel it same-day or in seconds after paying, so be informed, also no point in calling Amazon CC as these are bank charges, and they will ask you to contact bank. Thanks dimers for your valuable comments.

Try to mail them on HDFC CC support. Tell them you cancelled the product and request them to processing fee refund. If u are asking 1st time for this waiver(do mention “this is the first time i am asking for the waiver , hope you will consider it “) they will surely do it. I did the same for a faulty product from Flipkart which i returned. They reverted back in 2 days and got the processing refunded.
