is SBI YONO good ?
Is it compulsory to open a YONO online account if we want to open savings account in SBI ?
If NO then which is good : regular offline account (provides passbook) or YONO And please suggest cons of YONO .
@mastervijay @tejaa
ps.I already go through googling, but reviews looks like biased.

You are right.
Visit any sbi intouch office (if they still exists) and open a savings account there.
AMB will be between 2.5k to 3k. You will get the NB user ID & password in hand and photo debit card with in 10mins of account opening.
Regular branches will take a hell lot of time and you will have to visit many times for NB activation and all. So I won’t recommend that.
Photo debit card within 10mins ? That too from SBI
OP in short,
Regular Branches: Tagging you in DD without copy pasting your user ID
SBI intouch: Tagging me
Thanks a ton , but is there any terms like home branch there ?
SBI intouch is located far from home;
so do i need to visit that for any casually services (like credit, debit card request) or it will be done online/at any branches ?

What was the reason to avoid YONO/digital account and to go with SBI intouch ?
(Sorry for too questions ; these are last . And will kick my bike toward bank after your reply)
SBI intouch are out of service from last few months after the Aadhar card verdict. 3 intouch branches around me are closed. Stopped account opening and all their services like Instant debit card and net banking.
Account opened through YONO are almost same as regular account opened through branch. You can also get passbook issued from branch (although some branches resist initially but you can visit branch after few days and get passbook issued).
Account opened at branches are subject to lengthy scrutiny by back office before activation while account opened through YONO are activated swiftly.
Go ahead and open account through YONO.
I have opened SBI YONO account 4 months before.But unable to withdraw money vai ATM , Unable to send Through UPI , NEFT , IMPS even unable to add beneficiary. Having net banking also. What can be the solution ?
visit your SBI branch and complete full kyc
Debit card dispatched today .. thanks to all (Sorry for not able to give you karma )
Again …… I am unemployed — student — Age 20 — No ITR yet — good credit score of the father(if it’s important in any way)
so can I will be eligible for a credit card if applied for simply click / simply save or should wait till getting my income start
Its Not compulsory as per my knowledge !
Even you can opt for YONO after starting offline account ! YONO is just an app which consolidates all SBI services. (Correct me someone if im wrong)
