While I am waiting for my port-in to Airtel to complete this week, the agent mentioned this - since biometric (fingerprint) authentication was done, tele-verification will not be necessary. My previous experience was KYC being done by clicking the Aadhaar card's photo along with the customer's video.
At the same time, tele-verifying won't be a big deal but thought of checking other experiences here.

Fingerprint verification already done mean... No Televerification... Otherwise you have to do Televerification
