Hi I want to go for 599 Rs. postpaid plan of Jio.

Do they provide faster internet and better connectivity with postpaid plans like Airtel?

No.
Such things are illegal.

On Jio, you get the same speed with both prepaid and postpaid. Their management is against mobile networks serving differential speed on the same network type. Few months back, they also filed a petition against other networks doing this discrimination against prepaid users.

Nothing is illegal bro, especially for mota bhai. stuck_out_tongue

Airtel anyways differentiates between postpaid users and prepaid ones and calls it premium service. And difference is pretty significant.

That’s why wanted to ask experience of someone who as switched from postpaid to prepaid in jio or vice versa.

Then good luck shifting to Airtel or Vi because Jio doesn’t do what you want.

No point speculating.

No one here has any direct contact with motabhai nor Mittal so what’s the point on building a perception?

It is not a speculation, in fact TRAI had pulled up Airtel, Vodafone regarding something like this a few months back. They had said that the idea is to provide better services to their post paid customers. No idea as to what happened later. Won’t be surprised if our “poor friendly” govt makes suitable amendments so that all service providers can offer such premium services without any legal issues.

Motabhai too has his bhakts.

It cannot be quantified if there is a partiality. Literally impossible. Only thing possible is customer service number where a human answers.

And complaint against whom?

All the Mota bhai’s competitors 😂😂😂😂

See the entire game is about perception.

It’s Modiji’s strategy he follows

TRAI didn’t pull them up for providing human CC reps. They pulled them up because they provided network priority to their postpaid customers which TRAI thought would be unfair to those who are not in those premium service brackets. In fact Airtel advertised it openly about providing higher data speeds if someone avails their premium service (with the limited network capabilities someone should lose for someone else to get better network connectivity).

Well I didn’t mean to bring any politics into this because I am barely interested. But at least current laws stop them from doing this. Who knows what will happen in the future?

Absolutely correct bro, I have experienced it myself @myfungang829 . Airtel has always provided much better connectivity to postpaid customers. I have used their postpaid for 4 years, when I shifted to prepaid it was visibly slow but they were charging huge on postpaid at that time so it seemed reasonable itself.

Has anybody compared Jio Prepaid Vs Jio Postpaid …

All the eye candy benefits are only for 1 year …. Nextflix … Amazon Prime … etc … valid for 1st year only
so no Entertainment Plus from 2nd years onwards?

For 3 Phone Connections

799+18%GST = 943 workings out to be a good deal for 3 sims and no FUP as well

Can someone share the speeds on postpaid plus and prepaid if anyone is having both of them
