I have logged into the battery calibration HP UEFI mode.
However, when I start the battery calibration it requires the AC adapter to be plugged in. However, What i understand from the video. Ideally it should not need the adapter to be plugged in.

Harassment packards battery calibration is a joke. Dont rely on their app which shows whether battery is calibrated or not. Suggest some other way @guest_999

I've been saving my old laptops battery from quite some time now as it's always on power adapter mode 😅 which even costed me my power adapter recently.

Yeah it served for quite long & saved many cycles of my laptop battery even I feel it went bad cause there were huge power fluctuations due to the recent floodings which took many power houses nearby.
Need to buy a new adaptor now 1 hp store saying ₹1k for it along with power cable or can go with a local brand like lapcare? (link : https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&...)
on hp website same adaptor is ₹899 while chaper option like ₹799 or even ₹399 on croma 😬 is there but not available at my place.

Website says 1 year so hopefully that's what they should offer although good point will make sure of it before buying.
Only issue being the price that no store is telling the price over call & want me to to visit which is kind of strange 😬

No harm paji laptop draws power directly from the adaptor keeping the battery at full. But it's still advised to use the battery backup once in a while as a leftover battery might degrade over time apart from this it's all good.

₹600-700 is price of local adaptors as I enquired on person.
Original adaptor cost is quite a mystery as it's being sold at different prices at different stores.
Even the hp storey themselves are not giving a exact price over call & just saying to visit.

noone tells price on phone when it comes to offline stores, their price should be 50-100 more or less than online shop. buy online.kukdookoo wrote:

Just keep plugged in the adaptor . It ll save the battery cycles. But yes, Asus slim laptops overheat while charging
@InvestPotato please follow manufacturer's guidelines. If they say to keep the adaptor plugged in then do as they say. Just ask the support personnel they ll happier to guide you. You can check the documentations as well.
