We as consumers  would be paying atleast 250 /month or 8rs /day on average  of course @abhishek012 in association with npci would provide some relief in form of rupay platinum offer 😜

So that's like a he'll of a revenue  would probably kicking in to put it in prespictive  it's like 128 crore /day or 1rs each from 128cr telecom subscribers.

And I am sure Ananth & Radhika can go on for another 100 Pre -post -inter -etc weddings with this massive boost in revenues 😜🤣🤣🤣

Whats the Outlook on telecom stocks especially  the VI which is seeing a strong case for it's existence with this price rise

Airtel is surely going to have major leg up with this

Jio & RIL the king of this

Yes I get it as consumers we would have to pay higher than before but still this was expected  & hopefully this would reduce misuse of technology  for porn -fake news -WhatsApp university  issues

hmm in my opinion a duopoly business will keep going on the rise unless tech disruption happens (so airtel and jio /RIL are gonna have steady growth cant deny)

VI (idea) is like hmm dark horse (because it already sold some of its share to govt as repayment for debt lol SMART WAY hahahah to make Govt as silent partner loool) bravo xDDD

and also VI i think won somecase in other country court for tax against India loooool

Vodafone wins controversial $2B in retroactive tax case against India - JURIST - News

hahahaha it might be dark horse (dont bet on my opinon) just saying it:P xD

hmm but yes this teleco sector is gonna go wild

I am sure it's going to be less than a weeks revenue of JIO is spent on those weddings even if it goes on to cross the century 🤣🤣🤣

That's still 51 weeks revenue left for thier future 🤨🤣

And yes @abhishek012 s rupay offer is just going to negate this 20 % increase to take us back to somewhat near old prices but that's valid till next march only & also with Amazon doing away with part gv payment it's going to nel limited to below 500 transactions or just above that

This Is just incremental revenue for 1 fy spectrum charges are for 10-15yrs and are supposed to be 2 LAKH crore as per last round & present round is expected to be below 1 lakh crore...there is enough room for everything except for VI

Saare Telecom companies losses me hai. ₹47000 CRORE revenue se kya ho jayega ?

Indian Govt bahut jada tax and spectrum k price wasool karte hai telecom companies se, phir alag alag types k tax bhi hai.

That's all part of the business and this incremental revenue  over and above some 2.4 lakh crore.Hopefully revenue touches 3 lakh crore soon

Spectrum payment is for long duration  like 15 -20yrs last auction  was some 2 LAKH crore if taken for 15yrs it would be like aprox 14000 crore and which is not even 5 % of revenue /yr

Then the taxation is gst 18% and it gets ITC then others are part of any business  expenses

After all this jio alone is expected to book 25000 crore PAT /yr considering this would get it much higher & Bharti would atleast be nearby thus too so 50000 cr /yr PROFIT

Best option for Jio now is to immediately shift to family postpaid. Base postpaid is still 399 (for 2 days more). So for 4 SIMs total mthly cost will be 696+tax i.e. 822. Throw in Rupay Friday offer and it becomes 722 which works out to 167/SIM for every 28 days.

And some apps support part/advance payment also with cash back. So it can be even lower.

Also consider the thousands of crores they paid for 5g spectrum and for deployment of 5g equipment, salaries for employees as well as interest on these amounts.
