Looks like bsnl gained some subscribers as article shows net loss of subscribers at 1 . 16 crores.

So around 80 lalk subscribers might be moved to bsnl it seems.

Yes, I also closed my secondary Jio number last month. There is no sense to keep 3 numbers now.

But why is the news telling “wireless”. Why not “mobile”?

I think jio will wait some time to raise rates as it lost sizable numbers in last 3 quarters

Interesting part is – jio loosing Subscribers despite lower tariffs and cash backs.

I ported 5 Jio numbers in family to Airtel & Vodafone. Was getting no Internet speed. Complained to them a lot but they always said that there are lots of Jio users in your area and this is a temporary issue. But it was permanent issue for us so we ported.

Now Jio subs will increase if they try to remain low in pricing and also they have upper hand of multiple queuing and free Calling for toll free nos.
Hope they increase and improve their network as well..

Jio has always inflated it’s numbers by keeping inactive subscribers

This means not much difference between jio and airtel in terms of active subscribers.

Jio knew that in next quarter Airtel and Vi will do misadventure so the quarter ending Sep 2021, they let go inactive users. Now huge crowd outside I saw in front of Jio store and Jio retailers. Many secondary sim users who needed incoming only are going for Jiophone 1999 with 2 yrs UL calls + Phone + 2GB/month Data.
