true, motabhai will recover some money. However i was used to pay 1500 Rs for 12 GB data (to Airtel) and 1600+ to IDEA postpaid( for 10 GB data and 500 or 600 min calls), so it is still way cheaper for me.

Even i was also expecting 20% increase in prices. But it’s more than that!

And true was paying hell lot of bills for Family and office before Jio…. It’s still around 200 per month. May be after four-five years they will rise price again.

Hope airtel and idea prices will not be higher jio to be in competition.

Good for you.

Me, I don’t cling onto the past. I compare my cost based on current rates. I have chosen Jio 2-3 years ago because it was the cheapest at that time when they started and I will do the same now. So when my queued plans are over in Jio, I will most probably port to BSNL. So far, I believe BSNL is the cheapest to keep sim active, unless some other company comes forward with more cheaper solution.

pay through google pay UPI ID – transaction should be first time of GPay and installed Gpay should not be a referal – make payment of 149/- and above on JIO app – if u have 50 wala discount use that too – so final payment 394/- and then cashback is instant into the linked Gpay Bank account sunglasses

The amounts mentioned are very odd, it looks like someone calculated these using some load factor.

Jio has been in market for 3 years now. How can you even compare historical prices to future prices? Going by your logic, I should be comparing Rs 9 per minute I used to pay for incoming as well as outgoing calls to future prices….
Compare what you have been paying now and what you’ll be paying next…

And there was a time I used to pay Rs.12/min for outgoing and Rs.8/min for incoming. But that is history. And historical data is absolutely irrelevant for decision making.
We have to compare the present cost only.
