Silly query- from today onwards if someone doesn’t recharge its jio Number , will s/he be able to do outgoing calls to any number (any operator) and receive calls from (any operator)????
outgoing will not work. receiving worked even now for most people.

I was happy with free data on top up as we can optimally use 327 plan. Now 6gb is of no use.

I wish if we have a plan to recharge below 129 in jio like between 50 to 100 of 28 days validity for voice only plan with limited data.
My consumption is not high and i have fiber so don’t really need these completely unlimited plans. Now bsnl’s 49 plan seems Bette choice
if you dont need much data and only limited outgoing calls, Jio is not the best option

Politically motivated thugs and touts/middlemen who rip off REAL farmers,has no capacity / aukaat to affect Reliance / Vi /Airtel 
Dude,first understand what TRAI and interconnect usage charges (IUC) are. 
It’s TRAI that has issued an order that there will be no IUC charges from January 2021, which means that ANY telecom operator (be it Reliance,Vi or Airtel ) cannot charge a single penny to their customers for making calls on other networks.
Moreover,Reliance Jio has already written to Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and complained that there are “blatant efforts” to sabotage its network in the garb of farmers’ protest by the channel partners of Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea.
This fake farmer protest ( Tout / Middlemen protest ) has a lot of skeletons in the cupboard and eventually the truth will come out.
You are free to criticize any operator but never forget those pre Jio days when you used to pay 250 bucks to get 1 GB of goddamn data and still surf at a snail’s pace!
Even before Jio, I paid only 500 for 5.5 GB data AND unlimited calls and stable data speeds of around 1 mbps. Never paid 250/GB
More than 30 farmers have already died. If you are calling their death fake, then soon people will call you fake too.
And the complaint of Jio against Airtel/Vi shows how desperate and panicked they got after they were flooded with porting requests. They themselves used underhand tactics to get customers, now they cannot protest when they get their own medicine back.
Jio is not the only operator subject to IUC. All operators were subject to the same. But jio was the only one that recovered it from heir customers, but at the same time, never shared a single paise of the IUC they got from the incoming calls. Jio also used other underhand tactics like reduced ringing time for outgoing calls to convert outgoing calls into incoming calls.
So no, Jio or Ambani are not Saints.
