VU
When official launch?

Nope each addon sim costs ₹99. So 99*3+399+GST
Effective 205 per month or 2460 per year per member.
Then they will go for prepaid plan of 155 per 28 days is better right? if we can some how pass time between recharges we can survive with 12 recharges which would be 1860 + 2GB data every day
playdime wrote:22.5 gb per member each addon gets 5 gb extra. Yes, prepaid plans are better if you don't want priority customer service, international roaming with ₹1 per minute to India when using wifi calling
so 825 Rs per month 19GB data per member? is it?

Trial means I can avail it for free for a month right?
Currently I'm on jio 199 plan.
Jio's Rs 599 postpaid plan offers UL data. Cheaper than Vi's Rs 701 plan. Might be useful in places where Jio Fiber etc. isn't available.
Earlier
599 postpaid plus plan (with Amz prime & netflix mobie) used to give 100GB & unlimited calls for 2
SIM. Now for same benefit one has to pay 699+99? So its basically price increase of 199/mth.
Earlier 399 postpaid plus used to give 75GB & unlimited calls for 1 SIM. By adding 99 a person can share the benefit with one more SIM.
Will old 199 plan still be available?
So for basic plan of 399 + 99*2 for total 3 family members will be 600 per month.
I usually recharge for 395 for 3 of us and it is cheaper at ~1200 as the postpaid which will be ~1800 with no amazon/netflix.

Postpaid is for bulk data unlike per day limit.
I choose postpaid because I can use data any day. Someday I use less and other day I use more. But offered data is safe. For plus plans data roll back benifit too.
So we can't compare with prepaid per day plan price.

I don't think they offer this unlimited plan at this price. We will get clarity after official launch.

The image shared here https://telecomtalk.info/jio-plus-postpaid-plan... does mention UL data.
simhapur wrote:True. Was just thinking of my personal usage. Surely data is a lot more in postpaid plan for 3 users as opposed to 18 GB in prepaid for 3 of us. Also we use Jio fibre more than mobile internet. Hence not preferable.Postpaid is for bulk data unlike per day limit.

Vi offers 100GB data without any daily limit with 56 days validity. Plus unused data can be carried forward. Those that don't require calls much can opt for it. Jio also has a Rs 181 plan that offers 30GB data without any daily limits valid for 30 days but absolutely no calls/SMS.

If this is the case... Then will surely switch from vi 701 plan

If you can manage with 850GB data in a year then Vi's Rs 2999 pack is also good with no daily limits. Plus Night Unlimited for downloads. One can potentially download a few terabytes in a month.

Thanks it's official, I will upgrade to unlimited plan, once it launched.
I don't have broadband connection and live in a small town.
This plan will be helpful.
Plan 599 unlimited 4G or 5G data?

Both are unlimited

Provided, better speeds in that area. Most of places jio is congested.
