Today, I have got call from jio customer care that you donot have active recharge.
NEED TO CHECK MY MAIN BALANCE : so that i will maintain 20rs in main balance for auto deduction - “Automatic Number Retention Scheme”

Since, donot have active plan I am unable to check my main balance [My Jio App -> MyPlans]. Any way you can check your main balance .. [USSD codes it seems have stopped working.]

You don’t have balance then only they called you…. In next 5-7 days number will be deactivated… Happened with me … So you have to get sim replacement after that…. To avoid it do recharge with plan and feel peace of mind… Okay…

Easy way.
Login to Jio.com with the Mobile no. (Hope u r getting sms to this no)
In the Dashboard itself it will show the Main balance (This no. I have not recharged for 2 years)

May be because my balance was 13rs. [which is less than 20 for “Automatic Number Retention Scheme"]
Now i have balance more than 20rs. Does this automatic 20rs deduction to extend validity of no usage really work.

There is no guarantee…. Many numbers of 1 & 1.5 years regular recharged numbers also getting deactivated nowadays ….
I have seen some people are asking only jio postpaid … Not prepaid… May be it won’t gets deactivated…
