I am thinking to recharge with 1299 plan for my Jio number, and Top-Up when offers are available; activate the Additional data vouchers received for the top-ups as I get them. as my daily usage is below 500MB.
PS- I am currently using 98 plan (only for the first time I recharged directly with plan, and later with talktime accumulated from cashback offers recharges)
I’m thinking of the 12 month (336 days) plan because I see the data vouchers (from a section – 1GB, 2GB, 5GB etc.) are expiring (because offers were very frequent for sometime and my usage is not much. If the base/active plan would be of 12 month the vouchers will have longer validity (as I will activate as I get them) and the accumulated talktime can be used for later plan recharges.
Only Jio have a better network and Data speeds around my area…
What are your suggestions?

If I activate from accumulated balance I will already have Additional vouchers for the 12 months » about 179GB.. which will be more than sufficient for 12 months.
Recharges after plan activation, from offers will make it more..
You would typically need 12-15gb per month.
If u recharge with 100+20+10 u can activate 98 plan and get 15gb.
Right now u can get 20, 10 freely using freecharge. Amazon will keep giving something like 30 cb. On average that makes monthly 70 cost. (or even less using two 50 recharges).
The best is to commit for 3 months with 329 plan. Accumulate vouchers over 3 months and then activate as they have 90 days validity. I am doing this.
₹1299 will give you 24gb + 130gb vouchers = 154gb for 11 months seems very less.
If you can manage with it then good for you.
U missed things sir, after plan recharge I will recharge with topups (which will give additional data vouchers, from offers) to use after 24gb of plan entitlement.
Did you get any non-Jio minutes with 98 plan ?
I’m thinking of recharging with 98 plan as I have lots of data vouchers accumulated. Also most of my contacts have Jio so almost 90% of my non-Jio minutes remains unused.
Non Jio calls can be done at 6p/min.
I have the calculations.
If you don’t use more than 500 MB average data daily then this is the best plan.
1299÷336= ₹3.86 daily
If you want to have enough talk time to recharge 1299 then you to top-up worth about 1600.
You get about ₹82 per 100 top-up.
So 16 × 82= 1312
So Data voucher worth 160 GB + 24 GB = 184 GB total for 336 days.
Or 0.55 GB per day average.
Try to maximize savings by using all the RECHARGE offers available on Amazon, Mobiqik, FreeCharge, Flipkart etc.
Most of the times you won’t get offers for 100 topups 16 times. So better go with 329 plan.
For this you need to do 100×4 topup.
Calculations would be exactly same as above (÷4).
what if someone have 100mb usage everyday, which will be the cheapest way to get longer validity
So, did you figure out something?
One of the post I saw Airtel giving 12 GB in 98 rs
I saw that. I have Airtel SIM, but in my area only Jio have better network for data.
Any one know can i use discount voucher + main balance in jio
No, you can’t.
Now, with Plan 98 withdrawn… this seems to be the most economical way..
yes, either that annual one or the 329 one seems to be the best one we have
My guess is: 1299 / 329 will be withdrawn. Jio puts in Others section to remove plans which they want lesser visibilities. Give it 2-3 months max, if not earlier.
May be not, regarding the withdrawal.
But, placing in others section also makes plans unavailable to be recharged from other platforms like Amazon, Freecharge, PayTM etc.
Seems to be a good idea as ur data usage is less.go ahead and if you don’t have main bal, accumulate first and then do this, which fulfills your both ideas. kg btw
