We all know jiofber plans range starts with 470 for 30mbps, which is almost double rate compare to local ISPs.
but due to underground fiber technology, its service is hundred times reliable than the local one.
If you’re jiofiber user then probably you’ll be aware of some of the points, but it will be quite helpful for novice users.
Newly introduced for pre-paid plans
simplified conditions -
you can get up to 12 refers
referer from your building
you’ll get – 150mbps plan for 1 month
referer will get – 150mbps plan for 1 month
referer outside from your building
you’ll get – 150mbps plan for 1 month
referer will get – 1 month of OTT plans
you can DM me for refer, but I will recommend getting referrals from the same building person as it will give them good benefit(worth 1180) and you a good relation.
Avoid postpaid plan -
Explanation
On a narrow site, you can see that you’re getting the benefit of no installation charge(worth 1000), but here’s the catch
1st month free – (worth 1180)(even ignore extra speed/OTT and compare it with 30mbps minimum worth=470)
Prepaid plan refer – 1 month(worth 1180)(even ignore extra speed/OTT and compare it with 30mbps minimum worth=470)
15 days extra on 6-month recharge – (worth 235)
total – 470+470+235, which is greater than 1000 at no doubt.
conclusion – avoid postpaid
While some local ISPs don’t allow you to share it with neighbors, I didn’t found any issues with fiber.
you’ll need some RJ45 connectors, CAT5 cable(20-30 rs/meter), router if needed,
My friend is living across the street and we’re enjoying share plans since lockdown.
will add points in future
data mistakes/invalid pieces of informations are happily accepeted

Any way to recharge jio fiber plans with discount
I was mis-sold a 30 MBPS postpaid plan (6 Months) about 5 months ago. Is it possible to convert it to prepaid next month when its validity gets over?
In my locality jiofiber is not underground, wires hanging around electricity polls
I contacted the installation person for a new connection, and they have withdrawn the free trial and referral program. Fresh installation needs to be 6/12 month postpaid only.
Can anyone confirm the same?

You can get 1 month trial but will have to pay installation and security deposit. It can be avoided with 3 months plan onwards. 3 months postpaid is also available. I got a connection around a month back.

I had applied for a Jio Fiber Prepaid conn. yesterday which was completed just an hour back. No trial is available now. Dunno abt referral. I paid Rs 1500+Rs 470.82 for the 30Mpbs plan. If Vi hadn't done an Airtel and blocked recharges of UL data packs from main bal I would have managed with Vi for easily another couple of years at a minimum.

The guy told me that if I opted for the postpaid plan(minimum six months), it would cost 470 p.m, including GST. Unlike the prepaid plans, it doesn't add installation charges—no security deposits. He shared the same rate list over Whatsapp so I can vouch for it, at least.

I had opted for Prepaid as until I finish off the balances in my Airtel and Vi nos. I don't need to use Jio Fiber every month. Every alternate month recharge is fine. Security deposit is charged in every plan in case of Prepaid no matter the duration it seems.
