JioMart's Disappointing Customer Service: A Tale of Non-Return

Recently, I bought a product from e-commerece #jiomart. Upon realizing that the product I purchased from JioMart did not meet my expectations, I requested for return. Despite following JioMart's prescribed return procedure and initiating the process within the specified return period, my complaint was met with excessive delays and evasive tactics. Upon requesting a return, I was informed that they had tried to contact me but I was unable to receive their call. This led to the rejection of my return request. Frustrated, I registered another complaint, only to be asked to wait for 72 hours. However, it took JioMart nearly 10 days to provide a resolution, which simply stated that I should visit the brand's service centre. To make matters worse, JioMart cited that the return period had expired, denying me the opportunity to return the product. Their responses were often generic, scripted, and failed to address my concerns. It was evident that JioMart's priority was not resolving the issue but deflecting responsibility.
According to Jiomart, if you bought a new product, you will have to visit the brand service centre by hampering your work and time, if they are unable to fix your issue, then only jiomart will take any steps.
This is an injustice to customers.

Reliance online options used to be good. But now its all down the drain. Last year ordered some stuff, it arrived broken and even then they insisted on "technical checkup". No one came for days and it took lots of tweeting to get their attention and product returned. Got open box delivery from Flipkart.
And this is the new "return policy" by most online retailers - If there is no physical damage then you need to go to brand service center.
For online shopping I never look beyond Amazon. One or the other problems in e-comm sites.
They never replied to my email regarding worm infested, rotten cashews in a fresh date packing.
Wonder if Ambani's know about the condition of their customer service or that's another way of amassing wealth.
Am waiting since 2nd june for a refund...filed complain on consumer forum too..but no use....will file complain via e daakhal now
Once I've paid through the freecharge wallet and the freecharge says the transaction is successful and jiomart says otherwise ..... I've contacted both the CCs so many times for a month and left it cuz both say your money is not with us....and 2 months after that the refund just came.....no reply from either of the apps or their CC....what I learnt ( which might be wrong ) is if the money is not with both apps it's struck with payment gateway and after that 2 months maybe they couldn't verify my payment or something so I just got my refund
PS : It might not be related to the topic....but shared it cuz it might help someone
OP did not mention what was the product but reading between the lines suggests that it was either a cellphone or a TV. In either case, "did not meet my expectations" indicates poor research or failure to test out the item in a showroom first before buying it. It is alright to buy clothes online, try them and return them if the fitting is off or the colour does not appear as it did online. It is not alright to do the same for electronics irrespective of what the return policy says. The retailer has to sell that item as open-box at a discount. If enough people did this, the retailer's business would shut down.
Now mostly all online doing the same . Jio ko galli dene ki habit wale galli dete rahe , but online platform are now nearly same in this and such things are further goung to increase
Thrice jiomart delivered product , without delivering really ...Thankfully all orders are COD
Nasty service they have , they will not come to deliver ... sometimes they will mark as delivered
