According to the hospital (Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre), Kamal sir came in with mild fever, cough and cold,
and '..is recovering well and will be discharged in a day to two..' as per the press release issued by SRMC.

Although politically active, he has still done some good things for the masses and families of our paramilitary forces andfamiles of police personnel affected during ambush.
I acknowledge and respect that part of him.
