Kotak Debit Card Charges - after account downgrade?

My Kotak Salary account is being downgraded to a Solo account. While the Platinum debit card costs ₹750 + taxes AMC in the salary variant (becomes NIL on regular salary credit), on Solo it is said to cost ₹199 + taxes.

Now my question is can I continue using the same debit card or should I block it and request a new one to ensure lesser AMC gets charged?

Same issue for me..still not debited..planning to get cheapest debit card or planning to use virtual card..I have done conversion 6month back..I had edge account earlier

I am not sure if they issue only virtual cards for accounts other than 811. Do they? Did you also convert to Solo or some other type?

In case if your salary account converted to savings account then it would automatically get converted to the highest variant of savings account (AMB >40k). If your savings account is the lower variant then the debit card fees will be applicable otherwise it's a free of cost.
