Is it offered LTF?
It’s not showing in the app for me, but I had received a call from them regarding this, which of course I was sceptical about, but I received an email as well, offering the card as LTF.
Should I apply or apply after getting confirmation from kotak care that the card is in fact LTF?
Never got a mail from them ( LTF* ) but I did receive misleading calls from them (mostly agents*) a lot of times stating the card is LTF (but the app displayed joining + annual fees)
You can ahead if the application link (via LTF email) shows joining+annual fee as ZERO ( Personally, I would wait until the offer shows up in the pre-approved section )
No ltf cards for me . Bad luck
Getting daily these LTF offer emails & SMS messages from Kotak but whenever trying to apply, these morons, showing that I am only Pre-approved for their “White Luxury Card” with a joining & annual charges of 3000/-…Tried contacting their phone customer care, Facebook & Twitter support, but in vain…
They have no explanation why after clicking the League LTF card offer email, I am being asked to apply for their Luxury card…
IndusInd & SCB also disurbing too much for loans & cards almost everyday…I registered for DND on most of the bank’s sites but that did not work…
Yes Bank did not give me CC even after having high-value FD with them…Their bank manager asked me on the phone “what would do with so many cards?” Lol…I told him that it’s not your lookout…You did not give me card even after having high value banking relationships with your bank for more than 2 years…
These banks won’t learn until they hear from their papa…
You give your consent to override dnd if you ever, even once, show interest in their product by providing your number. It’s wrong, I know

Kisiko mila Kotak ke LTF card ?? I am only getting fake robotic replies from them in all the channels, i.e phone customer care, email customer care, facebook, twitter…Tried everything…
I tried just now once again & asked them to provide me their Nodal officer email & that too they denied to give…
On this page here : https://www.kotak.com/en/customer-service/griev... , they have forms to contact Nodal officers but this form can’t be submitted without a SR number which they never gave me…I tried the “Interaction ID” which I had got after contacting them via Netbanking but this Interaction ID did not work on the above form…
Twitter pe Kotak ke timeline dekh ke hi pata chal raha hain ke, just how many people are frustrated with them & complaining & tagging RBI in their tweets but these people are shameless…Even in Twitter DMs, they are only sending robotic replies…
I told them on the phone, that if you don’t solve the issue & don’t give me the Nodal officer email, I will take help from RBI Ombudsman & the “gentleman” simply told me on the phone that, “you can do whatever you want as you are the customer”….All they have to say is, visit our website www.kot...om & raise a complaint from there like we don’t know it aleady…
So, be it…I am going to raise the issue with RBI & then will see what happens…Sidhi ungli se ghee na nikle, toh ungli tedi hi karna padega…
I had a 3.75L FD with Yes Bank which matured yesterday & I removed all the balance to other banks & now the bank manager & other bank stuffs are calling to do an FD again & saying it will help me get a card…Lol… I had the FD for 1.6 years & they did not even give me a Pre-approved offer & kept declining the card applications for invalid reasons..
India mein bank account instantly open ho jaata hain but to close the account, we have to visit the branches… 
But currently unable to visit branch, so had to keep 10k AMB in Yes Bank..Later will go & close the account…
EDIT : Tried to complain on Ombudsman but the site asks for proof of what Kotak responded to my complaint…I selcted no response from Kotak & the form mentions that I must wait for 30 days after sending the complaint to the bank…So, I will file the complaint next month as I know for sure, Kotak is not gonna solve it without an official complaint.
You can’t complain bro, I did against HDFC card and this is what I got “In this connection it is advised that we have examined the complaint and close the same under Clause : 13 (1) (a) – Clause 13 1.a not on the grounds of complaint referred to in clause 8; of the Banking Ombudsman Scheme 2006.” This is truly not encouraging. At least HDFC has good escalation system but Kotak is 3rd class. For my direct online application in Kotak (non-customer) for League Platinum LTF, they said they are unable to track their own number and when I applied again it is showing still under process. What kind of joke is this?
I got LTF offer for royale signature card.
I have kotak 811 account and it was showing white luxury card as per approved with joining and Annual fees.
However I got call from their agent claiming that I have an pre-approved LTF offer of royale signature card. I was skeleptical about it but agent assured me that it’s LTF and if annual charges are shown during application process I can drop from there. Process went smooth no documents collection. And even I could see joining and Annual fees as 0 during application process.
I got the offer too…Try applying & let us know if you actually get the card in hand…HDFC gives these fake LTF offers too & then decline the applications of most applicants…

Funny thing.. no communication from KOTAK apart from the Application / Form Number one (SMS*) a week back and that too took 24 hours (after submitting the application).. so may be i will get “Card Approved” text today or tomorrow

Is it due to the fact that the branch is in a rural area ?
Its only showing 811 Fd based card.
On 16th November, I have applied for Pre-approved LTF Kotak League credit card via Kotak app and instantly received application reference no. SMS.
Afterwards no communication (No SMS/calls) from the bank. No CIBIL enquiry.
On 21st November, Today received card dispatched SMS. I can see Virtual credit card in Kotak app.
My 811 savings account is just 10 months old and had only 1 transaction with Rs.100 credited on the day of account opening. Still I got 1.75L credit card limit.
Today I have contacted customer support regarding credit card charges, the executives told me that the card has annual/joining fee. I have asked for a callback from senior executive and I got a call from manager, he confirmed me that the card is LTF.
The manager also told me that they can’t access our pre-approved, personalized offers and emails (sent via Email us option). So if you have pre-approved offer, just apply yourself and don’t waste your time by contacting customer support or twitter support. Better to keep the offer screenshots.

I recently got my league platnium kotak credit card upgraded to INDIGO 6E RWARDS XL credit card . Kotak has recently tied up with indigo . The application process was smooth , I just had to enter my existing details with the bank and My card got upgraded. Applied for card through indigo website on 23rd nov , received the card on 25th nov.
I complained on Ombudsman regarding not giving me the promised card & today Kotak person called me that, since my Kotak 811 account does not meet the required criteria, they can’t give me the card…I asked then why you daily sending me Pre-Approved LTF card offers ?? He replied, the credit card team does not know much about your account balance…LOL…

I will also tag RBI on Twitter & will thank them on Kotak’s own Twitter timeline writing “Thank You RBI for helping me out from this scam bank Kotak & helping me get the card” & I will also attach the card photo there on twitter on that tweet, because for the past 1 month, They also continously told me on twitter that, it’s their FINAL decision that I can’t get a card from them…
Got the card shipment sms few minutes back… Will be delivered tomorrow by Blue Dart… No verification, no docs were taken & even though they had said that, due to my account balance, I can’t get a card from them, they gave 2L limit…
I even got call from Nodal officer earlier that I don’t have any offer on my account lolwa… These guys are high on weeds maybe…
I called them now & they are saying that it’s not LTF & is a chargeable card… WTF??
I know it’s LTF but customer care executives are crap & they don’t know about this pre-approved LTF offer they are sending themselves to their customers….
Received physical card today…Tomorrow will send email to Nodal with last 4 digits & will get the confirmation of LTF…If Nodal say, it’s chargeable, then the WWE will start again with them… 
Nodal did not reply to me…Bachho ko gussa aa gaya shayad ke humne bola tha offer nhi hain phir v inko card mil gaya…

No cards of Kotak are LTF “by-default”…If you get email/sms offer from the bank or your app/netbanking showing the card as LTF, only then you can get it as LTF…
If anyone faces any problem with Kotak which the customer care guys not being able to solve, send email directly to nodal : nodalofficer @ kotak.com [remove the space]… A reference Id will be auto-generated within few minutes & then continue to reply to that email containing the complaint/reference id…
Got mail from Kotak with “You are pre-approved for LTF……”. Logged in with my 811 account CRN and found League Platinum Card with Zero Fees and it asked for residence and office address. Typed in same and got final screen saying executive will contact for KYC.
My history with Kotak is I opened 811 account 6 – 9 months ago but process could not be completed as there was few issues between my Aadhar name and name on PAN. They asked to visit branch to complete KYC and I did not bother to visit branch. And now I received this Pre Approved offer for CC.

I applied twice their League card and sent several messages in fb and sent mail to nodal officer also, finally they said my application got rejected stating " Hi! We wish to reiterate that, your application has been declined due to bank’s internal guidelines as prescribed by the Bank. Please note: you can reapply for Kotak Credit Card after 6 months from date of rejection. ^Team Kotak" . I have no relation with them and never expected the service of kotak bank is like this! If they can’t honour what they advertise then why the hell do these banks like this. Will take them to RBI and will get what I want.
