Kotak Zen CC Upgrade

Fucking bastards were showing nil fees for upgrading to kotak league cc but charged around 2000 fees,called cc said it was one time

Same happened with You ?? Is there one time fee or Every Year ? You got same screen as I'm Getting while upgrading the card. ?

Don't do anything directly on App. First contact customer care, ask if there is an upgrade offer and charges. Best thing with Kotak is, u can get almost any premium card thru Cust.Care with no joining fee(Basically free card for 1st year). But annual fee from second year is applicable. For Zen Card, 1st year no charges only thru CC. But 2nd year, 1500+ GST. If Spent 1.5 Lakhs in 1st year, then free for 2nd year too.

If it says No or Zero annual fees, there's no fees every year, but there can always be joining fee since that's not stated. Parashuuram's advice is solid, speak to customer care before opting for it...

Is Zen card is good? I'm royal signature card and getting option to upgrade to White card or Zen Card.. Should I opt for upgrade? If yes, which one? White ot Zen?

You didn't get any offer message via whatsapp? (They've been spamming this text every week/two to me). Annal Fee of 1500 is clearly mentioned there

In the App under the Loans header, there is a Loans and Cards offers option.

The Zen upgrade was showing with a fee when I looked at it through the credit card upgrade section, but here it was showing as LTF.. I called Customer care and they said it was LTF for privy league members and it had to be done via CC and not directly the app..

I got my upgrade a month back.. No fee yet.. Said it was LTF but no idea how I can confirm it.. 

I got it because for priority pass.. gives me 3 visits a year.. the reward rate is 0.83% or 1.66% depending on spend category.. Nothing great.. 8 domestic lounge + 3 international lounge  + ~1.5% reward rate on top of Kotak offers.. for a LTF card.. sure .. why not.

Zen is definitely better. White Card has two variants. And white Card is best only if u spend in Lakhs monthly, because there is no reward point system in White Cards. In White, they give cash directly, if u spend 2 Lakhs u get ₹2000. So below that, u get nothing.

Thank you. What is value of 1 Zen point? It's say 5 Zen point per 150.00 spent. How much% rewards we are getting?

1point = 0.25

400 points = 100 rs. 

So its either 0.83% or 1.66% .. a little more if you hit the spending milestones.

Yes, just 1.5 Lakh. But for White Card, it is 5 Lakh

White Card looks nice, but its benefits arent really great.. if your spend is that high , you'll be better off with a premium HDFC or Axis card..

There is also no LTF option afaik for the white card.. Kotak cards arent the best.. If you have other cards, or plan on getting more/better cards, I'd stick to a LTF offering so you can just keep one without thinking about spends target. 

You get nearly the same lounge benefits with the Zen card.. better / more usable cashback (unless you are hitting the 9L target.. and at that point.. just get a better card).. 

Looking at the site, the white card vouchers are for specific "luxury" brands.. Not cashback.. not vouchers for amazon that you can use anywhere.. its very specific.. its not a great card for the cashback aspect..

Even the foreign currency markup is 3.5% which is higher than other premium cards..

I probably wouldnt replace the zen with a white card even for free... just not as good for my use..

I Confirmed..its Not LTF Zen .. it's a Spend based Card.. now I Will not Upgrade My League Platinum LTF Card...i will keep that card only for Online offers..so Do not upgrade Into Zen

Are you a privy league member? It was LTF for me.. called CC, they said it was for privy league members. 
Might have been a promotional offer though.. not sure.

i got a call from Kotak offering kaching card and asked for a LTF one. The next day they offered me Zen and confirmed its LTF and pre approved. I took the screenshot during the consent collection. Even the application form i got in mail says zero fees. Okayish card for bank offers.

Check in the app if an upgrade is available to you. As the second step as the customer care. They reach out to people generally with a pre approved offer.

Upgrade is available via sms but with annual charge of 1500 😀

if you current one is LTF you might get this one as LTF via customer.

I dont know any trick. I just got a call, asked for LTF and got the card. I did not have a kotak CC before this.
