My Acer Laptop Hinge has broken, Third Party Company (LappyCare) is asking Rs 2500, is this price fair? If not can anyone share any good service provider at doorstep in Delhi NCR?

MODEL- Aspire A5151G, yes total charges Rs 2500, I will ask about new or old hinge.
2500 seems on the higher side for a broken hinge.
Nehru Place would have been the ideal choice, for cheap repair. Depending on the lappy model and bargaining, could cost between 600-1000 I guess.
May be, try calling some repair guys from nehru place and ask if they could come and replace the hinge at home. I am not sure but I heard the market is closed these days?
Edit – check if hinges are available online for the particular model, then u can order and get it replaced by some repair guy nearby.
Yes market is closed right now, I have asked one another guy, his shop is in faridabad only but right now shop is closed, He is offering pick up and drop same day amd asking For Rs 1600, Is it safe to give? I have never given my laptop for repair, Its 3 years old laptop.
If out of warranty first-party repair will be expensive. I mean just for adding an SSD, which only involves taking off the back cover, service charge is Rs 885 for Acer Nitro 5 which is pretty similar to its Aspire counterpart.
You can call Acer CC over phone. Damn easy to get hold off. I need to get some stuff
(battery, int. HDD) checked after lockdown as well. Extended warranty ending in mid-July.

How will u know he is putting a new one he can repair the old ones In most of the cases it’s repairable …..

A executive from (Lappyworks) will replace hinge at my place tomorrow at Rs 2000. His Shop is in Delhi and offering 3 months warranty, He has confirmed that hinges will be new. Now lets see.. @LIMBO @mas143forever Thanks for replies! +kg
If out of warranty OEMs like HP, Acer also provide only 90 day warranty on hinges IIRC. And if the model is long out of production they can even source the hinges from non-functional laptops.
So, He has replaced the hinges today but he has charged Rs 200 more as Some locks of panel connecting hinges were also broken, he has fixed them with fevikwik, Idk how much will these locks last. He has given 3 months warranty for hinges only. So finally Paid Rs 2200.

Which model? Doesn’t seem too high if labour charges are included. Depending on the model it can require complete disassembly of the laptop to get to the display. Are they gonna use new, first-party hinges? I hope it’s not something salvaged from old laptops. Might not last long in that case. If third-party ones a bit on the higher side.
I have read that it’s a common issue with some Acer laptops. Compromising on build quality to meet lower price points. Hence I just keep the lid open most of the time. Better a (slightly) dusty display that a broken one!
