Dear dimers,
Need your suggestion in selecting an laptop for day to day use(browsing, watching ott content, ms office suite like word, excel and ppt and no gaming requirement). My budget is 20k to 25k already had ryzen 3250 laptop with 4gb ram and 256gb ssd but faced frequent hanging issues while using even with an single window.
I've selected the following:
1) RENEWED laptop - Lenovo ThinkPad T460 from Amazon having core i5 6th gen processor and 256gb Harddisk for around 21k.
2) NEW Laptop - infinix X1 Neo with 8gb ram and 256gb ssd coming around 25k.
Any other suggestions are welcome

@Rajkotian , thanks for your response. I currently do not hold any laptop as I already sold my old laptop as there is no option to upgrade ram, battery is gone
u can buy renewed laptops which cost around 15k for i5 4/250 ssd

Go with the latest processor tech. It might cost you little more, but you can use for more time.
Don't go for old generation laptops.
Look for reputed brand like HP/Dell.
Bought Lenovo last year (March), tech was latest, but still had to go for ram upgrade and SSD.
So here is the checklist:
1. Single slot ram(8GB), so that you can use/upgrade 2nd slot in future.
2. SSD 250G should be sufficient.
3. Brand: hp/Dell or whichever OEM should not have software things running in background.
4. Latest gen processor. Don't buy 3-4 year old processors.

OP for your requirements, even a cromebook can be effectively used. MS office flies can be accessed through Libreoffice after activating the linux layer. HP cromebooks are available around 15K during sale.
Check here for my experience with HP chromebook.

If you want a sleek and lightweight laptop, nothing can beat it at this price.
