Laptop suggestion required around 75 K

Hello guys, im thinking of purchasing a new laptop. My current laptop is dell vostro 2520 i3/4 gb ram purchased 7 and half years ago..
Screen :- Minimum 15.6 (17.3 heavily preferred). FHD.
storage :- minimum 256 gb ssd + 1 tb hdd (can purchase 512 gb ssd and think of upgrade, if within budget)
Processor :- minimum I5. (can purchase ryzen series also, no knowledge about it)
Graphics card :- discrete
Ram :- minimum 8 gb, ddr4 (16 gb is actually required, will immediately upgrade laptop on purchase if less)
Windows 10 (ok with linux, if purchasing OEM copy is within budget), Backlit keyboard (optional), MS office (optional)
Battery :- i use my laptop plugged in at home (or where possible) all the time,.. still would prefer good battery backup.
Brand :- plz suggest.
Maximum budget – 75 k.
Use case :- gaming zero /. Mostly engineering softwares like autocad, building info modelling softwares, etc.
expected use is for minimum 10 years, so a bit high budget, was thinking for max 50 k initially.
Im not a knowledgeable person in these aspects. So kindly provide your suggestions or tag someone who could help.
P.S : cant purchase in US/ship from outside india.

The intel is much faster 6 core processor and you said higher priority is engineering software. You can spend time comparing everything but you need to decide whats your priority and budget..the Core i7-9750H is around 50% better than its opponent.

Thanks. In general I see that gaming laptops have negative reviews for battery life ?
How about this one :- https://www.flipkart.com/msi-alpha-15-ryzen-7-q...
I don’t have any idea about the processor. Is it equivalent to i5 possibly 9th gen and above?

Msi has bad service. The ryzen processor is powerful than Intel counterparts 🙂

Upgrade the ram.
Please don’t expect laptops to run for at least 10 years. Demanding tasks will gradually require better hardware.

1650Ti should be good enough, graphics card is more important for 3d model rendering in autocad & even there officially the workstation card(quadro or firepro) are the recommended ones.

Always keep in mind that intel processors are only faster till ryzen 3xxx series & they also run much hotter so no point in buying an intel 9750H processor in any laptop with not good thermals.

You can scratch the 2nd & 3rd option because 3750H & i5 10th gen are inferior to ryzen 4600H. Between lenovo gaming & HP Omen for a processor like 4600H I would suggest to always go for omen because of its much better build quality & thermals. Among lenovo models only the recently launched legion 5i can match omen.

Intel got a decade lead by using a stolen revolutionary setup to do more than 1 instructions per cycle..

I am surprised it took AMD such a long time to catch up.. But Intel has not developed anything new in all that time so I think All the talent of intel comes from buyouts.. They bought out all other CPU’s.. Since Intel could not match ARM, I am not impressed by them. But I dont know the latest AMD but until recently, AMD only matched performance by using a higher TDP power envelope.. which is understandable since intel uses smaller nodes in manufacturing..

Now AMD has the lead in smaller scale manufacturing which results in better performance per watt. Ryzen 4xxx series laptop processors are faster than intel equivalent models while also offering more battery backup because of being more power efficient.
