Laptop suggestion required around 75 K
Hello guys, im thinking of purchasing a new laptop. My current laptop is dell vostro 2520 i3/4 gb ram purchased 7 and half years ago..
Screen :- Minimum 15.6 (17.3 heavily preferred). FHD.
storage :- minimum 256 gb ssd + 1 tb hdd (can purchase 512 gb ssd and think of upgrade, if within budget)
Processor :- minimum I5. (can purchase ryzen series also, no knowledge about it)
Graphics card :- discrete
Ram :- minimum 8 gb, ddr4 (16 gb is actually required, will immediately upgrade laptop on purchase if less)
Windows 10 (ok with linux, if purchasing OEM copy is within budget), Backlit keyboard (optional), MS office (optional)
Battery :- i use my laptop plugged in at home (or where possible) all the time,.. still would prefer good battery backup.
Brand :- plz suggest.
Maximum budget – 75 k.
Use case :- gaming zero /. Mostly engineering softwares like autocad,building info modelling softwares, etc.
expected use is for minimum 10 years, so a bit high budget, was thinking for max 50 k initially.
Im not a knowledgeable person in these aspects. So kindly provide your suggestions or tag someone who could help.
P.S : cant purchase in US/ship from outside india.

I don’t have any idea about the processor. Is it equivalent to i5 possibly 9th gen and above?
The intel is much faster 6 core processor and you said higher priority is engineering software. You can spend time comparing everything but you need to decide whats your priority and budget..the Core i7-9750H is around 50% better than its opponent.
Always keep in mind that intel processors are only faster till ryzen 3xxx series & they also run much hotter so no point in buying an intel 9750H processor in any laptop with not good thermals.
Wait for half an year and get M1 like processor for same price

62 k in afternoon. Dropped 2k now.
Update – so finally purchased lenovo ideapad gaming 3, ryzen 5 hexa core 4600H, 256 gb ssd+1tb hdd, 8 gb 3200 ram, gtx 1650 graphics, windows 10, MS office 2019 for 62.7 K from lenovo india website. Shipped and delivered within 1&half day. (Same city shipping and delivery – Bangalore). Added +8 gb Kingston 3200 mhz cl 22 ram today at lenovo exclusive store for 4650. Laptop working good so far. Thanks to all for commenting, especially @guest_999 for guiding me throughout through PM.
