If your budget is on higher side (above 68k) then you will most probably get good specs. Take a few more pointers.
1) Check if the laptop supports thunderbolt 3
2) Check if the laptops' brightness is at least 300nits. It should be a PWM free IPS panel.
3) Check the battery size
4) Check if Laptop supports charging via type-C port or not
5) Metal and plastic build are both good. Don't worry about it too much.
6) If you want to go light on the road, don't buy a gaming laptop.
7) RAM and SSD should be upgradable.
8) If ADP is available take it.
9) Check with manufacturer's site to confirm the exact spec
10) Take WiFi 6 and latest blutooth 5.2 enabled laptop.

Purpose
400 nits display guaranties good outdoor visibility. It should be able to do moderate video n photo editting. Lightweight form factor will allow you to carry this with you.
My sister wants a laptop for college usage under 30k. But I want to buy her a i3, so that it’ll be good for future rather than going for Chromebook or Pentium/celeron processor laptops. Back in 2018-19, we used to get i3 laptop for under 27k. Now any recommendations will be appreciated.
Few days back i saw laptop on lenovo site ideapad i3 11th gen with dos 4gb ram and 1tb hardisk for Rs 34500/- after applying coupon lengod and 10% hdfc cashback comes to Rs 30000/- which is now not available but u can wait and look for back instock.

I bought it for Rs 35,500/-(much better performance than i5 10th gen). Its shipped from lucknow to delhi.
8GB RAM soldered and can’t be upgraded and measly 256GB SSD make it kind of a white elephant.

I have Amazon 15" touch lappy and now planning to buy 17" version seeing its amazing weight but have to check the price of 2021 version, which was launched today in India (Is quite expensive -more than 1.5lacs if i were to import from Amazon US)

1: Every brand has their segments in laptops : We need to choose wisely as per our requirement.
2: Processor speed and RAM technology plays an vital role.
Note: I’m using Lenovo Thinkpad laptop’s since 12 years. My requirement is Rugged and very high performance as i’m into administrator works.

Suggestion:Do not buy chromebook,I am an examiner for international exams,we cannot take controls due to chrome os features in zoom meetings or gtm meetings.
How is Macbook Air M1 16 GB ram and 256 gb ssd? We can get 512 gb ssd in 7k from outside.
Always look for Laptops with extra Ram slots & SSD slots. Processor power also matters.

One of my friend just pinged me this laptop; was amazed to see the price; The actual price is 79K on website and on Amazon; somehow Flipkart is having a pricing error coz there it’s not even showing discounted value as 59K, it’s showing original value as 59K
