I have brought a Lenovo laptop yesterday for friend but while checking its warranty period online it's showing 9 months left but shop owner says it has 2 years. How to correct an incorrect Warranty Date. Please guide if anyone know.

They will ask for invoice and then update it accordingly
It's important to confirm whether the product is not a resale or returned item. Warranty gets activated as soon as the first buyer registers on OEM website or when Seller forwards sale details to OEM

You may need to register to your laptop with lenovo website to update the warranty. Warranty is from Date of invoice not from manufacturing date.
