Dear Dimers,

Kindly suggest a good securities company to open trading and demat accounts with less brokerage and AMC free/less.

I am currently with kotak but their AMC charged are 750/year and trade hardly once a year.

Heard about zerodha.

Thanks

Zerodha is good. Also heard about invasia which is absolutely free but I would recommend Zerodha.

They have only web interface as they do not have application based so I guess there will be slight time delay for updates

I’m using upstox. But I won’t personally recommend it.It crashes a lot in crucial times and orders don’t get executed . Btw if you’re a small trader(holdings less than 50k/whatever i amount i don’t know) then you can open a bsda account with some discount broker. (I’m not pro in this segment but providing info on just what i know).

I think zerodha is better. (Note that word, I think)

Called up zerodha for opening and asked them for brokerage calculator which the exec promised to send by mail since yesterday…seems they are busy even after calling 4-5 times…ivr informed will get a revert call as they are busy due to shortage of staff

You can look for finvasia. Brokerage and AMC, both are zero with them.

MTRIP has given the link of brokerage calculator above. They have recently increased the intraday brokerage to 0.03% (from 0.01% earlier), with flat capping of 20/- per order.

PS: I signed up with them last month.

Kotak is not bad for unlimited trading plan, if you’re looking for alternative unlimited trading with low charge, finvasia would be a better option.

Yes they do. Recently new app called Shoonya, it has IPO option, never tried there though. You can check with them in live chat.
