Remembering KK
I got introduced to KK by my college friend Rajiv in 2005. He was into Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy sooo much. It was sooo hard not to listen to those songs. Haha, I didn’t have a cell phone. My friends had these Nokia 6600, Sony Ericsson Walkman phones. Teachers used to do surprise raids on our classes. And I was their, my friends’, trusted custodian. Rajiv would be like check Emran Hasmi ooooooh lala. Check him check him. Check that actress. I have this God gifted ability to choose good music. I listened to Gangster songs. I said it will be number one, especially that famous “Tu hi meri shab hai”. Good days. Then FM craze came. A lot of shows played KK because of audiences’ demand. 🙂 I didn’t have an FM or cable connection at my home. It was not because we were poor or anything. Obviously we didn’t have tons of money back then but my parents were concerned about my study. And I resuscitated an old FM radio that was built to an old charge light, surprisingly all by myself. And I figured if I loop the antenna cable I can pick FM signal directly on my TV. I did all those things so that I could listen to songs like Wo lamhe, Tuhi meri shab hai, Labon ko. Who did know that engineering is in my blood? Haha. Btw, I used to tear apart my RC toys and modify them during my childhood days but that ll be another story. We will miss KK. I will be honest with you guys, I have not been into Hindi music since a decade or more than a decade because my interests expanded their horizon in a healthy way.
My ex loved this song. I have not listened to this song since 2014. 🙂

I will add a Slipknot song’s lyrics to give some justice to this melancholy.
You can’t kill me ‘cause I’m already inside you
You can’t kill me ‘cause I’m already inside you
You can’t kill me ‘cause I’m already inside you
You can’t kill me ‘cause I’m already inside you
Song name – Sic

All the four songs have something in common. I will leave it up to you to find yourself. 🙂🙂🙂
One of the best Michael Jackson diss tracks. Eminem is a genius
One of the best diss tracks ever from the godfather of Gangsta rap Eazy E (rip) himself. Search for the dirty version for the best entertainment. I wanted to post the original song but the song’s title ll be too explicit for forum’s standards.
Eminem’s Guilty Conscience is one of the most entertaining videos. But My Name is on another level.
Shady is back. Without me is awesome.
Rap God is a masterpiece
C Walk is an iconic song by Kurupt. C Walk is an acronym for Crip walk. Crips are one of the most violent gangs of the USA. The dance move was invented by first gen Crips gang member Robert “Sugar Bear”.
G-Eazy takes the rap game to the next level in this song I mean it.
Honestly modern hiphop songs don’t sound that gangsta in compared to those songs released during eastcoast vs westcoast (More like a bad boy records vs Death row records) battle. But the news anchor style representation is dope though. 🙂🙂
Check out Snoop Doggy Dogg and Dr Dre’s masterpiece. Eazy E in his real Compton City G’s dissed Dr Dre and say “..in his old album covers he was a she thang”. 🤣🤣🤣
2Pac Shakur’s Hit ’Em Up dissed Notorious BIG.
Actually both 2Pac and BIG were best buddies. 2Pac was invited to BIG’s studio one day and he got shot at. While being pulled out from the crime scene in a stretcher 2Pac allegedly showed an objectionable sign to Biggie and his crew thinking that the shooting has been orchestrated by ’em.
BIG had released Who shot ya after a couple of days of the above mentioned incident and hence started the long lasting bloody Bad Boy Records(East Coast) vs Death Row Records(West Coast). Puff Daddy and Suge Knight profited from it. Karma has bitten Suge Knight and he is in jail.
This song was like throwing lit cigarette in to a vat filled with gasoline. 🙂🙂🙂Both 2Pac and Biggie were shot by assassins (rip to both). Thanks to God, Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre made some wise choices in life. And the feud slowly evaporated.
Which one is your favorite rap song and who is your favorite rapper?

The butterfly I feel in my stomach after looking at those pretty eyes, the Chill I feel in heart, when I see them turn to cold. The misery I feel, when I become unrecognizable to those eyes. The helplessness I feel, when my eyes turn red waiting for replies. It is weird right!!! Music comes to my rescue, n it heals me.

Years are going like just like that, maybe it is a singular experience limited to me. Just like that 2020 is over. I mean it is really scary. In a blink ago I was a kid, after a blink I will be an old man. It feels like I am the constant one, but my perception changes after watching myself in the mirror. I can’t believe, I was just a boy. I want to be a boy again. And it is not possible.
That’s weird. whether I want or not the clock is just ticking. Just like that it is 16:07 PM now. I was checking something and it is 16:09 PM. I don’t know, that’s pretty depressing and disturbing to me. Believe it or not, we have limited time. Please just don’t waste it away. Because, first we waste time then time just wastes us. This vicious cycle has been going on and on for a while. I wish you guys a purposeful new year.
