Once the four Pandavas (except Yudhishthira who was not present) asked Krishna, What is Kali Yuga?

Krishna smiled and said "Let me demonstrate to you, the situation of Kaliyuga." He took a bow and four arrows and shot them in four directions and ordered the four Pandavas to go and bring them back.

Each of the four Pandavas went in the four different directions to search for the arrows.

When Arjuna picked an arrow, he heard a very sweet voice. He turned around and saw a cuckoo singing in a spellbinding voice but was also eating flesh of a live rabbit which was in great pain. Arjuna was very surprised to see such a gory act by such a divine bird he left the place immediately.

Bhima picked arrow from a place, where five wells were situated. The four wells were surrounding a single well. The four wells were overflowing with very sweet water as if they were not able to hold water and surprisingly the well in the middle of these four overflowing wells was completely empty. Bhima was also puzzled at this sight.

Nakula was returning to the place after picking up the arrow. He stopped at a place where a cow was about to give birth. After giving birth the cow started licking the calf but continued to lick it even after the calf was clean. With great difficulty people were able to separate them and by that time the calf was injured badly. Nakula was puzzled by the behaviour of such a calm animal.

Sahadeva picked arrow which fell near a mountain and saw a big boulder falling. The boulder was crushing the rocks and big trees on its way down, but the same boulder was stopped by a small plant. Sahadeva was also amazed at this sight.

All the Pandavas asked the meaning of these incidents. Krishna smiled and started explaining...

"In Kaliyuga, the priests will have very sweet voice and will also have great knowledge but they will exploit devotees the same way cuckoo was doing with rabbit.

In Kaliyuga poor will live among rich, those rich will have enormous amount of wealth which will actually overflow but they will not offer a single penny to the poor same as the four wells didn't have a single drop of water for the empty well.

In Kaliyuga parents will love their children so much that their love will actually spoil them and will destroy their lives similar to the love shown by cow to her newborn calf.

In Kaliyuga people will fall in terms of character like the boulder from the mountain and they will not be stopped by anyone at the end only the name of God will be able to hold them from doom like the little plant held the boulder from further fall."

When I wrote Love and monsters & other stories spontaneously I really didn't have any plans for it. And when I write something then they are mostly from my own personal experience. There is this one story regarding cremation ground. If we decide to ignore the harrowing conditions of relatives of the departed n brutal scene of the destruction of the human body in a pyre then the entire scene becomes quite poetic. No matter how rich the person is, no matter how old the person is, no matter how beautiful the person is, no matter how powerful the person is, no matter how good/evil/cunning the person is that scorching fire of the pyre remains quite indifferent.

Train of thought chut Gaya bhai. Kya bolte hain toilet jo laga jorse. Jab taak jinda hai taab taak Sai. Once mar jae toh apne log jaake jala dete hain/dafna dete hain body ko. Aladdin ko puchta hai wo dragon ki kis chiz ko log bhul jate Hain. Aur jawab hain death ko. Death toh sabko hoti hai but most log eise pretend karte hain ki death hogi hi nai.

Jab taak Jan hai tab taak Jahan hai. Abhi ek iPhone jiske pass hai wo Amer hai. 15 saal pahle jiske paas nokia kaa n series phone tha wo amir tha. 50 saal pahle ek radio bass chuniinde bando ke paas hoti thi.

Jo design kiya hoga wo nai rha, jo chala Raha tha wo bhi nai Raha. Ye car bass ek classic car ban chuka hai.

Kitne acts of jealousy, pyar, dhokha etc hue honge ye vintage gaadion me. Taab ek ticket naa hone pe kuch log saab ke saamne kitne Jalil hue honge TT ke dwara. Saab chale Gaye/Jane Wale Hain.

Bass ye knowledge, experience hi next gen ke aur chala jaega. Ek anokha baat bolunga. Ye jo gaane, films etc me log erotic chizen kitna ghusate hain. Me population ko dekhta hun fir sochta hun ki intimacy sachme overrated hota hai. Woh wing waali chinti ek raat ke liye hi udti hai fir shikar ban jati hai dusre predators ke. Thik usi tarah hum behave karte hai.  Does Love means Sex Is Valentine's Day for Sex only by @Loaferg bhai kaa yaad aa gaya. Nature bhi ajib hai. Hormones, pheromones ko ek dam setting karke Diya hai. Normally log kast karne ke baad apne karmo kaa fal paate hain. Being pregnant for 9months n giving birth to a baby is not an easy task. Here first comes fal i.e. Pleasure. I don't think anyone ll carry a baby without getting anything in return. And I don't think anyone ll dare to start a family, taking care of family without getting anything in return. Sexuality isiliye hamare basest ke basest necessity hai. Hamara life kaa mission hai ki Rona, khelkud karna, kuch banna, kuch Dena, apna bansh badhana n fir budha hona parwarish karna n mar Jana.

Just think in this way. To be honest a person borns, grow up, breed, grow a family, take care of family, help offsprings breed safely by getting them married, keep giving to the society n die. Two things are cruel truth birth n death. If we become too practical n then always think about our expiry date then a very few people can function. Death is true but a lot of people die a million deaths before embracing their final one. What's the point!

If we talk about spirituality n devotion, it's very hard to tell what came first. But the root of everything is the realisation of the ultimate truth i.e. Life n death. Devotion n Spirituality goes hand in hand. People just don't realise things. Despite of sitting inside of ocean of knowledge we often sit quite helplessly. If knowledge is spirituality then the act of getting it is devotion.

Now I am watching turbo sounds of cars 🐒.

So, my train of thoughts are again breaking.

What do you think guys?

Ma sita narrated to Hanuman:

A lion was chasing a hunter who was very tired and didn’t have any weapons to defend himself. The man ran till his legs ached, he thought he would be the prey to the lion. But to his luck, he finds a huge tree nearby and runs to the tree. He looks up at the tree and starts climbing. As he does that, he sees something sitting on the branch of the tree. Terrified, he takes a keen look. A big wild bear was sitting on a branch.

He cries and pleads to the bear,

“Please do not hurt me. I have nowhere to go. The lion will eat me. I want to live”.

The bear looked at him and said,

“I promise I won’t hurt you. You are safe here”.

The man sat on the same branch the bear was sitting.

The lion now came to the tree, looked at the bear and the man, he roared and said to the bear,

“He doesn’t belong there. He is not our race. Throw him here and we shall share his flesh”.

The bear said, “Well, he climbed the tree knowing I was already here. I promised him I wouldn’t hurt him. So its my dharma to see he is safe and return home safely”.

The lion laughed and said, “Dharma is not for animals. Its for humans only. Just throw him here”.

The bear shook its head.

The lion tried to convince the bear in all possible ways. The bear didn’t fall for his words. But, the bear felt sleepy after listening to continuous discourses of the lion.

So, the bear said to the man,

“I am feeling sleepy. I can’t sleep holding this branch. I am afraid I will fall down and the lion might eat me. Please allow me to sleep on your lap”.

The man thought for a while and allowed the bear to sleep on his lap. The bear fell asleep.

Now, the lion told the man,

“Alright. You see man, he is a wild bear. After he wakes up from his sleep, his hungry stomach desires for food. I really think this bear might eat you. Moreover , which fool trusts an animal for his life?”

The man felt terrified at this account. The lion said,

“I will make you an offer you can’t refuse. You just push the bear to the ground. I will eat him and I promise you, I will leave this place after eating the bear”.

The ungrateful hunter, so much concerned about his own life, thought for a long time about the offer and finally pushed the sleeping bear.

The bear somehow woke up while falling down and caught hold of a branch of the tree and was saved.

The lion told the bear that even though the bear tried to save the hunter, he was so ungrateful as to push him down. Hence the bear should now help the lion by pushing the hunter.

The saintly bear replied,

“He may have lost his ethics and dharma. But I didn’t. ”

Thus the bear stood by its principles and did not harm the hunter who was greatly ashamed seeing the behavior of the bear.

A good story shared on quora-

Hanuman’s Ramayana.

We all know Valmiki wrote the epic Ramayana. It so happened, after he finished writing, he learned that Hanuman has also written a Ramayana. Curious about his version, he goes to the distant plantain forest in the warm valleys cradled by the Himalayas where Hanuman lived.

There he finds the banana leaf on which Hanuman had written his version of Rama’s tale.

The vocabulary, grammar, melody and metre were so perfect that Valmiki started crying. “After reading Hanuman’s Ramayan,no one will read my Ramayan”,thought Valmiki. On knowing this,Hanuman tore the banana leaf with the epic on it,crushed into a ball, poped it into his mouth and swallowed it.

“Why did you do that?” asked a surprised Valmiki.

Hanuman replied, “You need your Ramayana more than I need my Ramayana. You wrote your Ramayana because you want the world to remember you. I wrote my Ramayana because I wanted to remember Rama.”

When Pandu, the father of the Pandavas, was about to die, he wished for

his sons to partake of his brain so that they inherit his wisdom and

knowledge. Only Sahadeva paid heed, though; it is said that with the

first bite of his father’s brain, he gained knowledge of all that had

happened in the universe. With the second he gained knowledge of the

present happenings, and with the third he came to know of all that would

occur in the future.

He literally ate that scream

It was time when Ram had established Ram-Rajya
, an ideal society. It was then he was informed that it was time for
him to die. He knew that one who takes birth on earth must taste death.
But Yama, God of death, was afraid to enter Ayodhya because of Hanuman
who was guarding Ram and would not allow anyone who would dare to take
Ram away. Ram knew he must trick Hanuman. So he threw his ring in a
crack in the palace and ordered Hanuman to fetch the ring. Hanuman
turned to size of insect but as soon as he entered he realised it is a
way to Nag-loka, realm of snake. There he met king of snake , Nag vasuki . He told him his purpose to visit. Then Nag vasuki took
him to a room and to Hanuman’s amazement it was full of replica of Ram’
ring. He was all confused. It was like searching a needle in heap of
hay. Looking at Hanuman’s bafflement vasuki spoke that he can take any ring as all of this ring is of Ram. He further told that it is rings of Ram of every chakra ,cycle. Each chakra have four yuga and these rings are of Ram of thousand’s chakra. Each time a monkey came to fetch the ring and Ram up there dies.

Only
then Hanuman understood that time is cyclic in nature. It repeat
itself. His dear god , Ram must die to get reborn on Earth and so he let
Ram go to his abode.

This is beautiful concept of time. It repeat itself.

And what an irony this story shows. Even death is afraid of Hanuman.

Unpopular thoughts: This thread is less spritual and more devotional TN.

Example:

Taking about the how was ram-rajya, it's impacts, it's dharma, it's implications are more spritual.

But talking about Stories are more devotional towards deities. (Deep analysis and thesis are spiritual thoughts btw)

Knew it from childhood. Saw this in a animated version on TV.

Difference :-

1)Banana leaf vs A rock mountain

2) Instead of swallowing, mountain was thown in the ocean.

And this is also one of the most ancient place in the world.
