Let’s take a moment and thank the ITC and Godrej group who’ve reduced the price of sanitizers from Rs. 75 to Rs. 25. Let’s not forget, ITC is going to suffer badly because of the lockdown (reduction in cigarette sale) and still they went forward with this reduction. In other news, HUL first increased the prices of sanitary items but later after considering the public sentiment, reduced. Also they’ve pledged a lot for the hygiene of this nation. Vedanta Ltd’s Anil Agarwal has committed 100 crores to fight the Coronavirus Pandemic. Mahindra Group’s Chairman – Anand Mahindra has announced a fund to fight the pandemic and also made his resorts available for temporary care of patients!

It’s time Indian government and the Honourable Prime Minister openly acknowledge them.

I think it was the government order that made them reduce the prices.

Coronavirus outbreak: After HUL, ITC, Godrej cut price of sanitizer packs

https://wap.business-standard.com/article/compa...

Allegations against HUL was kind of half true. A company can be evaluated from its share prices. Take a look at HUL today, it is trading above 2000 today. Obviously it’s because HUL has acquired VWash from Glenkmark. But if HUL was doing malpractice, it would be trading at 1750-1810 level today. And that’s too is my observation only. 🙂
