Hi Guys,

LIC option on Amazon isn’t working, says temporarily down.

I don’t see option to pay with Amazon on LIC website too.

How do I pay premium with Amazon balance.

LIC has updated it’s payment gateway from existing Bill Desk to PayTm officially now !!!

Amazon Pay and other wallets are no longer supported. PayTm payment gateway has been configured to support only NetBanking/UPI/DebitCard/CreditCard.

This is an end to all the loot of LIC premium payment via Amazon Pay…

Bro my due date is on Oct 10. It opened exactly on Sep 11. Check in lic website whether it’s allowing to pay due. If it shows there, then Amazon pay also will show.

Checked bro.
Only Advance payment allowed now, due date is more than 30 days.
Only Paytm Gateway is showing, bill desk not available.

I had just paid it, but via Amazon Pay directly, not via LIC site; didn’t check it as my due was nearby. However for @Mayavi since he needs to pay in advance (more than 30 days before), so it has to be via LIC site only and bill desk isn’t yet reflecting I guess.

okayy cry

1. I have paid 23K bill last month, so the limit if exists must be higher (I read somewhere max 1L is allowed by LIC merchant itself)
2. No partial payment allowed, also no advance payment allowed. Can be paid only after bill generation which happens like 30 days before due date.
3. Yes, Apay will give 2% rewards for this bill payment. However you can get better discounts using gift vouchers which are collected from various offers ranging around 5-10%

1. Never tried to pay bills above 10K, so can’t say.
2. Yes, you can pay from available Amazon Pay balance and the rest from other modes of payment.
3. Yes, as cashback T&C says 2% on all digitally fulfilled services on Amazon. Some people here have got it too.

Partial payment are of two types: one is partial payment to biller itself & other is mixing different methods of payment so each of them is paying partially. I think @AJ89 means former.

Various offers… Recently IDFC OneCard had offer where people bought gvs at 10-15% off that too around 60K. Similarly you always have the millennia cc/dc using gyftr which gives 10% off. Also some random offers every now then like slice and even the current 50 off on 500 load money (daily) offer which are basically 10% off.
