Nothing to hide, lucky to have an infinia and buy AGV from hdfc smartbuy. 

The discount is actually 16.66% (-1.25% processing fees). If I am unlucky enough to not use the points @ 1=1 on travel/ Apple products / tanishq then the points can be redeemed @ 1RP=0.7 Amazon GV once a year or 1RP=0.5 AGV any time of the year. So the worst rate I might get is 8% which I specified.

Anyways, even using HDFC millennia DC gives 10%-1.5%=8.5% off on AGV, upto 8k AGV. This might be the easiest route to get discounted AGV (albeit limited).

I have millenia dc but never knew about it. I heard it's 5% upto 400 per month. Can u explain how can I get agv at 8.5% ? Karma is waiting to be given

If you use 8000 AGV from hdfc smartbuy, you will get 5% 400 loyalty points (this is a base feature of millennia DC) + 5% 400 smartbuy promotional points (this a smartbuy CashBack of 5% for all hdfc debit cards)

- 1.25% processing fees + gst

It will be ~8.55% off on AGV. 
the processing fees are only on AGV, so if you need to shop then rather buy ASV @ 10% off which has no processing fees.

I used to add money on Paytm and pay credit card bill to receive 400 loyalty points on HDFC millenia debit card. So instead of doing that if I buy Amazon voucher I'll get 400+400-120= 680 cashback on buying 8000 apay voucher every month. Am I correct? Is it tested

I needed to buy 8-10k of Amazon pay balance every month to pay electricity bill bills anyway

Last month i tried with both cards getting 5% cb, If you want to see cashback of 1k in 2 days go with sbi cashback or if you have patience to see cb next month you can go with millenia. any inputs from others.

It looks like the card's not fetching any cashback on GC purchases from Magin Pin (Merchant name - WWW MAGICPIN IN) anymore. For the second time in a row, my gc purchase transaction on Magic Pin did not earn any cashback.

That's weird! Also, for me, the card doesn't give cashback on amazon shopping transactions but it does on amazon gift card purchase transactions, lol.
