Anyone here using Livpure RO on rent?

₹499/m, no water limit and no need to spend money on maintenance charges, everything included. What is the catch here?
https://www.livpuresmart.com/ro-subscription/pl...

Any feedback? Thinking to get the ₹499 plan with ₹1500 refundable security deposit.

Our Kent is now left with only outer case only, inside that we have replaced all parts with local ones as it was turning too costly to repair. Now it works good as well.

Assuming, on an average, they can sell it for outright purchase at 14000.

They are 'in the money' even if one uses it for 28 months or thereabouts.

Assuming the charges remain the same.

.

LivPure have started investing more towards indigenousied  production of key components too.

.

Productwise they are at par.

But then, I doubt if they would want to give a totally new unit for rentals.

Why do you think it is a good deal when you can buy a branded RO in 5-7k under offers? Is the maintenance too costly?

Absolutely. Easily 2-3k every 6 months or 4-6k every year plus visit charges and no tension for any RO warranty issues.

Should I go for it?

I was in the same place of you and almost made my mind, but this RO on rent was not available at my place..

So got replaced filters by Kent Guy and running the same old RO.

Please do review it once you use it.

There was one video available on Youtube which gave full details.. do search..

Local automatic water dispensers give 20L for ₹5 here & home delivery will cost ₹20 for the same. These are the most economical solution for RO almost everyone gets their water from their even leaving ro due to its costly maintenance.

@Faug

I too was considering this but from preliminary research, the catch seems to, they're not providing high-end RO units. They are just simple ones. Like, Kent RO water purifiers come in the range of 15k - 20k but the ones Livpure is providing won't be more than 8k and are less functional.

If you're in Bengaluru, go for Drinkprime, absolute best product and the first to do so on a commercial basis. In Pune, Drinkprime isn't available yet, else would've gone for it blindly.
