Not the media people, it is the people. Here in bengaluru also I can see people are roaming freely without masks, throwing large parties with 100s of people and got infected https://indianexpress.com/article/cities/bangal..., as if they have taken vaccines. It is because dumb, idiot janta that we will reach that point again.

Given a choice, I wouldn’t wear mask at all. I would prefer to die of Corona than breathing issues due to masks.

Lockdown seems to be the only way out for Thakrey parivar to show and exercise their power. You should reset your expectations if you expect some progress from this parivar

One of the main reason why the cases are now increasing is only because of local trains in Mumbai which is now open for all without any restrictions.

Increase in cases will be there was very well known before opening the trains , and at some point of time it had to be opened , so blame game sounds idiotic.

But Yes Definitely the real culprits are those idiots without masks spitting here and there and these asses are in large number.

Only way out is BASH THIS WITHOUT MASK SPITTING RASCALS BLACK AND BLUE ON THERE ASSES AND IN ADDITION 14 DAYS CORONA PATIENT CARE HOSPITAL SERVICES

I don’t understand this anti-mask mindset. What’s wrong with you people for real? I breath in through my mouth and I still can’t imagine going outside without a mask or sanitiser! And obviously a proper surgical mask at that not some cheap cotton shite used over and over again.

I had to travel by train twice last week due to a competitive exam, obviously along with thousands of chimps- as in Indian public transport physical cuddling is strictly followed- and noticed that at least 30% of these gobshites don’t bother with a mask (and they are in a friggin train among innumerable people!). Funniest part is that glad and boastful look on their faces, especially when they see people with a mask.

Ffs Indians are worse than the virus itself.

Like really? People prefer to die of covid than to wear a mask?

I have been going to my workplace since over a month now and it’s a mandate to wear a mask all day at work. Yes, it’s obviously inconvenient but no, not to an extent that I would rather prefer getting covid. Lives of ones family and people surrounding are at stake, I would rather ensure people around me are safe than to have a luxury of breathing without a mask on.

Exactly… we ( our whole family ) are still following as much precautions as we can. Following these things will help in protecting ourselves and spreading the same. Why it is sooooo difficult to follow a few rules… I just don’t get it.

Even as Maharashtra sees a sudden surge in new coronavirus cases, the Mumbai civic body has clarified that a fresh lockdown is not on the cards for the city.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, however, said stringent implementation of rules and Covid-19 guidelines will be ensured in Mumbai to prevent the spread of the virus.

Sources in the BMC said on Friday that lockdown will not be imposed in Mumbai while adding that the situation is under control but being continuously monitored. Mumbai reported over 700 new cases on Friday morning.

Earlier, Mumbai mayor Kishori Pednekar had warned that the Maharashtra government could think of imposing a “second lockdown” in light of the rise in Covid-19 cases in the city.

The mayor said Covid-19 cases are rising fast in Mumbai and it has become a matter of concern for the civic body and the state government. An increase in the number of suburban services and resumption of all other activities could be a reason for the surge in cases, the Mumbai mayor said.

Wrong, bro, that is your political hate. That’s all, not the reality.

The government over there is just as corrupt as any other government. But if they wanted to hide the numbers, why my brother, who is working as a doctor over there , is getting constant push for track and trace? According to him it’s the centre discouraging the track and trace. I don’t believe it’s true. The state itself can’t hide the numbers. It can be done only with the help of centre. State can do poor job of tracking, to get less positivity rate.

Have you traveled to Kerala bro? I was there last december. Even without any symptoms, I was under house arrest for 1 week and they had let me come out of it only after the test. Or else I would have to undergo 2 weeks of quarantine. Police didn’t even let me walk out of the terminal. They wanted the details of the vehicle and person who collected me from the airport. Healthcare workers visited me twice in that quarantine period . After that I had a blast and kinda felt like the people are slowly loosing the guard as the death rate is low. So, they don’t care that much now. That must be the reason kerala is rushing to the 1st position in the covid list . Even me and my friends got fined 500 each when we were hanging out in the beach. We left the masks inside the car. So the police and healthcare workers are efficient.

I have traveled a lot of places in the last couple of months and kerala was the one with toughest restrictions. Going back to kerala again next month. So hopefully will tell you better stories. stuck_out_tongue

“Covid-19 cases are increasing and this could be the second wave. People should follow social distancing and use face masks if they don’t want a lockdown again. If the cases continue to rise, they have to take a call on lockdown in the next eight days,” Thackeray said.

That being said, then why continue with the local train services? Which is coming out to be the main reason of transmission..
