Yes, It is likely to get extended in all states I guess. Especially in our Maharashtra.
Any relaxation in specific areas may lead to more spread. It is better if all states extend it together.
Sadly, we don’t have any other option which might help, other than lockdown. We are hearing corruption scandals at the start itself and can’t rely on Govt for anything other than regulation. pensive

Companies were hoping things will improve by April 14. They had put off their layoff plans until 14. Another lockdown may mean mass firings in various sectors

Lock down till 30th June. All international flights stopped and all border sealed till 31st Dec. Then only we have some chance.

Yes lockdown will be extended by 2 weeks minimum with few sectors will be allowed to open. Without Tablighi jamaat, India would have been in a much better position. These people are a bigger threat to the country compared to corona virus. These people should be shot dead instead of wasting money on them. These viruses have wasted all the efforts of the country who have followed the lockdown peacefully rage rage rage

If PM would have banned the international flights in February when it was suggested to him by the experts, India would not need this much long lockdown…

15 lacs foreigners entered India in Feb-March…Thanks to our PM…

“Followed the lockdown peacefully” ?? Big Lol…More than 20-30% people are not following any lockdown…

P.S. Most affected state is Maharashtra where the Zamaat didn’t happen…

50 doctors who were enrolled in temporary service have resigned in M.P. 2 lady doctors were heckled earlier when they had gone for purchasing grocery.

These & many such stories point to the already burdened medical system in a developing country like ours & paranoia of the masses when testing & positive case is relatively less.

Imagine the situation if lockdown is lifted and thousands more become infected. It’ll lead to collapse of medical system in India. It’s easy to say to lift the lockdown but mayhem will follow.

These are dark times for economy. Centre & state governments will have to collaborate to curtail the damage. It’s obviously not a win-win situation. Rather it’s about mitigating the loss irrespective of the path taken. Situation is similar in most countries. Italian PM said very fundamentals of EU will be put to test.

A different organism is disrupting human beings, yet we are trying to finger point at each other based on whether some one is a fan of harry potter and not the fan of lord of the rings.

Problem is that the invading virus is invisible to naked eyes.

Hopefully when this happens, https://cdn0.desidime.com/attachments/photos/611990/medium/6599451Ky3fu2N.gif?1586449538 invaders will be visible and humans will be able to see pass politics, religion etc.. and unite.

All thanks to the Jamatis rage the virus has reached even to the smaller districts. They’re one of the main reasons behind lockdown extension among some other factors. The cases are multiplying everyday, the poor healthcare system is aggravating the crisis and the situation will probably get worse in coming weeks. Testing, tracing and isolation methods are filled with loopholes and economic constraints.

I’m desperately waiting for a ray of hope. pensive

This is the problem with India when we are full of clueless uneducated leaders.
There was a time when Lockdown would have stopped the spread of corona virus, it was in early February, it passed away.
Now you should not even dream about stopping it. It’s inevitable, the only thing you can do is flatten the curve through restrictions.
Why do you flatten the curve? To lessen the total no number of cases at the peak of the epidemic so that the healthcare facilities are not overwhelmed. Meanwhile you also give your best shot at ramping up your healthcare facilities.
Our healthcare facilities are not saturated. Lockdown now is a waste of time. It should have been done later when we had about 100,000 cases.

Bro you keep telling that but there is no other pragmatic solutions as of now. They can’t build any medical facilities overnight so this is the only way. Hope they use this time at least to build up and plan something because this can’t go on forever.
